Life and Times of Teh Asuka

Okay, we all know I suck at keeping up with what I said I'd write, and I don't want to throw myself at the Mermaids when I know I'd come to an abrupt stop at the first plothole. So I'm not even going to attempt to meet the 50.000 words requirement; my goal this year is 30.000. I won't reach it either but it seems less daunting. XD; (maybe in ten years I'll finally reach the end. XD;)

Maybe by pressuring myself less I won't even notice I'm writing so much.

But! Personal goals:

1) At least 1, preferably 2 chapters of Teamwork.
1 bis) if possible work some on the Suna sidefic.
2) 1 chapter of FF7 Restore.
3) 1 chapter of the GW Newtype fic. (still needs title.)
4) 3 GW/FF7 crossover drabbles. (I don't want this 'verse to die yet. It's shiny.)
5) Finish the current arc in the Cyborg fic before I lose the goddamn bunny. (this is last on the list because before I can write it I need to fix a plothole. Thankfully it's not me writing myself into a corner like last time, it's just I have no idea what happens between scene A and scene D.)

If I can do at least three items on this list I will consider it a success and much back-patting will ensue.




Now plz halp me with the GW/FF7 crossover ficlets? I'm still writing Jo's Heero&Aeris ficlet, but I need more prompts. Please give me GW char + FF7 char + mood? Or setting/place? Or two GW or FF7 chars, I'll try to fit it in this 'verse.

Just be aware Heero, Duo and Wufei are the only GW characters on the Planet right now, and this is pre-Nibelheim incident so including Tifa or Barret might be awkward; so if you suggest them or a non 125 GW character, make a second prompt in case I just can't figure out anything plz.

*sigh* I seem to have a fairly low success rate with these memes, so be forewarned that there's a good chance I'll flake out and not write your fic, even if it does inspire me. My bunnies are apparently short-lived.

Something short would be good, though, so I can enter it without typos. Anyone has suggestions? T_T

--owait, no, I had another problem in mind. Been trying to write NaruSasu/SasuNaru but I'm being all difficult about it and besides my bunnies are asleep. I thought about doing a drabble meme, but my inspiration is so shaky this week that I probably wouldn't be able to do even half of them and then there would be woe because I promised ficlets and never wrote them. But if any of you has suggestions -- a quote to include? a situation? a place? (but um, nothing too cracktastic plz, I don't feel up for crack, and it's not much of a prompt if it's something too banal, and I suck at holiday fics and, er, yeah. ._. *whiny*)

So. Prompts, plz? I make no promises, but I really, really want to write me some narusasu sometime this week.

... So as with every single time I have to write important scenes on a current multipart, I am currently run over with the need to do a bazilion drabbles on random stuff.

I've started an Itachi-centric fic with a plot device that I usually hate. D: (bakkhos, I should probably talk with you about it. XD;;) I've poked at my porny-funny team Seven sexing thing that gets to page 18 before there's any penetration going on and then I hit a mental block or something and I can't go farther, poor Sakura. DD: I've wasted hours daydreaming over the cracktastic-but-so-cute possibilities of a Sasuke who's sick enough to be floppy, nightmary and confused, only to end up with no point and no plot and the bunny dying on me. DDD: I've -- well, I've figured out a couple things for Teamwork, and then promptly went back to other, more important things, like googling my real name to see if anyone else had it. (there are several actually. One is a religious philosopher, one is a doctor specializing in "end of life care" *brr*, one is a lawyer, another one is a realtor. Of all of these, I want to repudiate the realtor the most. XD Also I'm apparently married to a guy in our national football team. Huh.)

Eventually, googling shit got boring, so I want to go back to writing.

But not Teamwork, hahaha, that requires too much brainpower.

And for some strange, weird reason, I want to write drabbles for NaruHina, SasuSaku, NaruSaku and perhaps even SasuHina, just to prove to myself that I can.

Problem is. I have no plotbunnies for these. At all. Everything I can think of is 1) cliche as fuck and has been done and done and done until it died, and then done again necrophiliac-style, 2) too easy to turn into "X and Y miss Z in tandem because OT3 FTW" or 3) OOC, bland, boring or otherwise pointless and uninteresting.

... I am open to suggestions and prompts, though I make no promises I'll choose yours. u___u;;;;;; And yes I do mean "X and Y being together and happy about it and not pining for someone else in secret too much" or at the very least "X and Y crushing on each other/becoming closer".

People who read at FFnet, I need your help. this is my C2 archive. But I don't surf FFnet very often; so if I missed a narusasusaku fic, or a fic where the focus is on the three of them as teammates and friends, romantic or not, I would be very grateful if you linked me.

(I'm not asking for excellence, but I'd be grateful if the characterization and spelling are at least passable. :p)

Also kind of thinking about creating an archive for Team 7 fics (not mine! I already have a personal site. I meant an archive for other authors), so I could host even NC-17 fics, but 1) not sure where to find the space and 2) I don't know jack shit about websites. I barely know enough to update my own, but then it came already done, I just have to upload stuff and add links to the relevant pages. So ehh. Still thinking about it.
