I wanna draw chibis.
Any of you guys have original characters you have a good description of and/or sketches 'n stuff so I get a good idea of what they look and behave like? It'll be most likely VERY simple, probably also very sketchy, and I can't promise I'll draw yours, it depends on my inspiration, but hey, you never know. >__>

I'd have to say, the trio of original genin from This Future Place (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1678422/1/This_Future_Place).
Akimichi Saiko -- well, she's an Akimichi, so she's cutely round. She's insecure about her abilities, which makes her clumsy and shy. The only thing she has confidence in is her strength. She wears her hair in braided pigtails, with her Konoha head band tied on the top of her head (much like Sakura). She has spirals on her pudgy cheeks. She wears an over-sized jacket covered in pockets and the classic 'ninja' calf-length pants. She's taller than the boys on her team.
Katsutori -- the rough-and-tumble kid with an easy-going manner. A master at setting traps. His hair is a long, shaggy mess that gets into his eyes. Said eyes are narrow, giving him a mature look that is completely at odds with his perpetual grin of childish delight. He wears a bulky vest (usually full of wires and hooks and bombs and bits for traps) over a long-sleeved shirt and baggy shorts. His headband is tied around one thigh.
Heigan -- the bookworm; it never looks like he's paying attention, but in truth, he always is. ..... and I'll get back to you on him, because I never really thought about his appearance outside of "probably a rich, intellectual snob".

Saiko's hair -- does she have bangs? are the pigtails kinda like when Ranma pretends to be a chick or on the sides of her head? >.>

Saiko -- she has two pigtails, one on either side of her head. They reach to her chest. Her bangs are pushed back under her headband, but she's got two tiny 'ear tails' that curl out from where her headband tucks behind her ears.

Naruto Haruno, twelve years old. He is a SasuSaku baby from one of the many EPIC AUS I will never write and was created SOLELY for my own personal amusement. Tufty pink hair and Mom's complexion, but Daddy's eyes. Doesn't actually know Daddy is his daddy or anything about his family history at all and has therefore been calling him "Sensei" all these years while they alternately stalked/avoided Orochimaru and Akatsuki, what with Sasuke kind of psychotically-obsessively training him to the brink of Doom. Is polite and easy-going and generally content despite the grim and bloodybusy childhood, and is about chuunin level but has never been formally tested or educated by anyone but Sasuke and whatever assorted scrolls he's stumbled across on his own. His favorite trick is using ki to manipulate cloth into a weapon or armor and he wraps himself up borderline-mummy under his clothes for this purpose. The clothes he wears over the wraps are loose in order to make it easy to unwind them when he needs to, and he always carries a heavy-looking messenger bag to keep spare bandages and the ilk in; he tends to dress in greens, browns, and tans--anything that blends into a forest well, nothing dramatic. Is quiet, reserved, determined, and the closest thing to a medic nin that Sasuke and his own curiosity about the profession could teach him how to be. Much more emotional and emotionally honest than Daddy-sensei.
His buddies (who he totally only ever meets because Sasuke gets done with his long list of People To Kill So My Family Will Be Safe and goes home to Konoha to turn himself in [with the plan to get EXECUTED so little!Naruto can get Raised Properly by Sakura and/or Naruto >>;;;;;]):
Hana Uzumaki, a NaruHina baby. Eleven years old; she has Byakugan and short, messy blonde hair and is short for her age. Mom's complexion. Personality-wise, she takes more after Daddy, but she's smarter (i.e., more talented with covering her tracks). Also, a better dresser--much more into black and gray, long sleeves, shorts. Prone to flashy techniques riiight up until the moment she sneaks up behind her opponent and KOs them with one surprise attack. Crushed instantly on little!Naruto without even getting his full name out of him--she calls him Nakkun. She's also about as subtle as Daddy in trying to get people's affections, but since little!Naruto actually RECIPROCATES the crushing this usually works out for her. Except when she comes on a little TOO strong and his "ohgodit'saGIRL" panic attacks kick in; he hasn't been around many kids his own age and basically zero females. >>;; WAY TO GIVE THE KID A ROUNDED EDUCATION, SASUKE. I'M SURE HE'LL NEVER DEVELOP A MOMMY COMPLEX OR ANYTHING.
Akito Haruno, what is little!Naruto's adoring eight year-old little brother and looks EXACTLY like Sasuke. Nevermind that he and little!Naruto don't actually realize they're related due to Sasuke kiiiind of kidnapping little!Naruto to protect him from Orochimaru-who-wants-a-new-host WITHOUT MENTIONING HIS REASONS TO ANYONE IN THE VILLAGE. And then kind of running off for about, um, nine years yeshetotallydoesn'tknowaboutAkito and Sakura is TOO VIOLENTLY PISSED to be telling him. "Adoring little brother" pretty much sums him up from the second he meets little!Naruto (yes he calls him "aniki" I AM that person); Sasuke would have the worst deja-vu EVER upon meeting him himself, although Sakura slightly vindictively dresses him in bright colors and NO BLACK EVER. He just started in the academy but doesn't really have much of a feel for shinobi things--in a few years, when he graduates and figures out he wants to Protect and not just Get Paid he'll turn out to be a much better ninja than his grades would suggest.
God WHY DO I KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT CHARACTERS I WILL NEVER PUT ON PAPER. *could go on for like another YEAR about all three* >>;;;;;;;

Akihito Uchiha - he looks pretty typically Uchiha, in a very average kind of way. Black hair, pale skin, brown eyes that flash red when he uses his (very weak) Sharingan. As far as using his bloodline limit goes, he's about as strong as Sasuke was when he first got out of the academy. Difference is, he's never going to get better at it, knows it, and accepts it. IS NOT a Konoha ninja - it's debatable whether he really qualifies as a shinobi at all, since he flunked out of the Academy, but he acts as one when he's at home. He's from Ice Mountain country (yeah, made up my own country for him) which is small, poor and (surprise surprise) cold as hell, so he's going to be covered head to toe. He favors gray leather (not form-fitting), fur trim in grey, white or black, and usually wears a hat that looks a little like a beat-to-hell Australian bush hat in grey. He's laid-back, easy-going, and acts like everyone's favorite uncle... unless you piss him off. He does have a bit of the Uchiha temper, after all, he just hides it.
He's in his mid/late 30s, wears his hair in a loose straggly ponytail - strands are always getting loose and falling in his face. He's not as handsome as Sasuke or Itachi, but he's a hell of a lot more stable and happy with his lot in life. He's got three kids (whose names I never sorted out, but there's 2 boys and a girl) from 18 to 12... typical Uchiha kids, except the girl's hair is auburn rather than black. The girl is 15 so the Ice Mountain boys are just starting to come around to the idea that she's actually kinda pretty. XD His wife's got reddish blond hair, bright green eyes, and a sweet smile that conceals the fact that she's a much better fighter than her husband will ever be.

Hanagawa Sachie I think I've mentioned in this venue before - she's a Cloud-nin, forehead protector goes as a belt-buckle. Her (matrilineal) clan are 'soft skill' specialists, turning out infiltrators, poisoners, and seductresses since time immemorial... Only Sacchan ended up 6' 6" (199cm) rather than 5' 3" (160cm), which makes it terribly hard to play the 'big sad puppy eyes' card, so between that and teasing cousins, she decided to train as a heavy-assault specialist rather than an infiltrator.
By age twenty, she - at least, the incarnation I play in the City of Heroes MMO - is kinda scary.
Unfortunately I don't have in-game screenshots of her two team mates on this PC, dangit. I can try and get back to you on them, if you're willing?

She's basically an older version of Ayami with blond hair... long hair tied in a high bun, prone to dressing in greens (since the green chuunin vest is a symbol of authority), ans I think she has a bit of a jewelry fetish (ooooohhhh, shiny) with jeweled hairpins in her bun and lots of bracelets and rings. She also has a very cynical expression on her face most of the time, excellent posture, and wears heels that are higher than Tsunade's. Lately I've gotten it into my head that she's Inoichi's older sister (and thus Ino's aunt)... a failed genin.

Shakko: A kitsunetsuki ("one who is possessed by a kitsune") and the heroine of the game. Lost her parents in an accident when she was about 4; started repressing her emotions afterwards due to survivor's guilt. A long and convoluted series of events results in her eventually coming to terms with her loss and rediscovering her emotions. Same series of events eventually led to her becoming a servent of the kami Inari. It's her 'job' to deal with rouge kitsune and to keep the relations between kitsune and humans civil. She's partnered with a tenko myobu who possesses her so she can use its powers.
Shakko is a tomboy and prefers wearing pants and tank tops. Her clothes are more based on what would be comfortable in combat than any kind of fashion statement. She has long black hair that she wears in a braid and amber brown eyes. When on "offical business" she wears a forest-green cloak with gold trim and a gold Inari-mon on the back.
"Shakko" means "red fox", and is a term that can be used interchangably with "kitsune". It's her nickname, not her real name.
Yume: The tenko myobu (a white-furred, nine-tailed kitsune in service to Inari) partnered with Shakko. Origionally possessed her as part of a punishment for robbing a shrine, he now finds her to be a rather pleasant partner. He spends most of his time either hiding in the back of Shakko's mind or in the physical world. He tends to act like a big brother- or uncle-figure to Shakko and Genko.
Other than being a white, nine-tailed kitsune, Yume has a distinctive pattern of swirling spots on his face around his eyes (I should have a picture of that somewhere).
"Yume" means "dream", and is a referece to both how he has the power to watch or create dreams in humans, and to the origional (discarded) game idea.
Genko: Shakko's fiance. His parents worked at the orphanage where Shakko grew up and has known her for most of their lives. Somehow he managed to fall in love with an emotionless she-bastard. Shakko and Genko's personalities can be best described (without writing three pages each) as being a mix of Sasuke and Naruto; Shakko leans a bit more towards Naruto and Genko is closer to Sasuke. He doesn't have any special abilities, but he travels with Shakko as her aide. Genko's job is to help listen in on rumors and conversation for clues and to keep other humans out of the way of fights. He has black hair and chocolate brown eyes.
"Genko" means "black fox" and is usually considered a good omen. It's his nickname, not his real name.

I have a guy, who we'll call Shiname Minamoto. His original conception as a character was drawn from obserations of big cats, so think feline. He's 6'1, average build, lean muscle, very lightly tanned skin. He has pale blue eyes with oval pupils. They have heavy black lashes and indigo brows. Every time I draw him, before I do the color, I end up thinking his face looks like Sephiroth, if that helps at all. His hair is particolored(?), royal blue that darkens to indigo on the tips. It's long and layered, waist-length in back and the front is layered so the bangs fall just to his eyes and the sides fall around his collarbone. His fingers and toes are claw tipped.
He won't wear any clothing that has to be pulled over his head, he wears wrapped tops, dark blue, with tie closures and short sleeves. His top is long enough to cover the top of his thighs. His forehead protector, black cloth, is worn around his upper right arm and has been scratched out so badly that it tells nothing. He wears loose pants, white, bound at the ankles and wraps his feet instead of wearing footgear. He wears the same type or forearm and hand guards as Anbu, only in black over white wrapping and his fingers are bare. His wears his weapons pouch at the small of his back.
His specialty is genjutsu. His main elemental proficiency is water, followed by earth. His taijutsu is above average and heavily reliant on his claws, both hands and feet. He doesn't like drawn out fights and will go for one-hit kills if he can, when killing is necessary. His usual personality is like a typical aristocrat, arrogant, self assured, doesn't like to get his hands dirty. When he's in battle he loses the proper veneer and goes animalistic, savage.
He's a missing nin from water country, listed as an average jounin but actually closer to s-class by now. He's somewhat lazy, very arrogant, doesn't like to take orders or play well with others. He poses as a wealthy landowner and travels around frequently.
Hmmm, not sure what else to say about him. Probably said too much already. ^^;
