So the headset I bought to talk to people worked once and then decided it didn't like me. Pretty sure it's a hardware problem, since I didn't even look at the settings between my first and second try, much less change anything, but I have no clue whether the problem is with the mike/cable or with the computer plug (the sound works fine). There are plugs on the back of the computer too, but for all the reaction my computer has to them, they might as well not exist (why? I don't know either), so I can't test with those.
The other solution would be to open the computer tower and try to see if a wire came loose or something. Ahahahaha no way. I'm not risking it.
I paid €15 for that thing. I'm so. Fucking. Frustrated. ~__~
