NNNGH.

So the headset I bought to talk to people worked once and then decided it didn't like me. Pretty sure it's a hardware problem, since I didn't even look at the settings between my first and second try, much less change anything, but I have no clue whether the problem is with the mike/cable or with the computer plug (the sound works fine). There are plugs on the back of the computer too, but for all the reaction my computer has to them, they might as well not exist (why? I don't know either), so I can't test with those.

The other solution would be to open the computer tower and try to see if a wire came loose or something. Ahahahaha no way. I'm not risking it.

I paid €15 for that thing. I'm so. Fucking. Frustrated. ~__~

Mon ordinateur a déjà arrêter de reconnaître ma webcam. C,est pas le même problème, mais c'est similaire. J'ai réussi à résoudre le problème en allant sur Panneau de Configuration -> Ajout de matériel. Tu n'a qu'à suivre les instructions pour tenter de trouver ton headset.

J'espère que ça peut t'aider.

Je pense pas que ca marche avec les prises du devant parce que je peux brancher le casque et le débrancher et y a pas de problème, et j'ai pas eu besoin d'installer quoi que ce soit pour le micro non plus. Mais bon, peut-être que c'est ca qu'il manque pour les prises de derrière. J'essayerai, merci du conseil ^_^

As for Sai...I'd vote for off-center, right above Naruto and Sakura. Half sitting on the back of the couch so he's gotta twist to be facing the right way. With the leg that's on the couch toward Sasuke.

Are you sure the headset thingy is compatible with your computer? Because I have this nifty handheld organizer thing I got as a gift, but it isn't compatible with Windows XP. D: And I want to use it so bad.

My headset wouldn't work for forever until my friend came over to poke at it and yelled at me "You need to have it on 'push to talk' DUH. I recommend something you never use for anything else, like the 'insert' key." In my defense, I had no idea how to use the thing. :(

Now it works okay though. ^^


If you have Windows XP you could also try going to the "control panel", clicking "sounds, speech, and audio devices". Then click "sounds and audio devices", click the "audio" tab. Finally, make sure both the "playback" and "recording" sections have your headset under it as the "default device".


Hope I kinda sorta maybe helped a bit. :<

I don't know if the tablets they sell over in Europe are also sold here in the States, but what would you recommend for a tablet. If it can be bought/used here, I'll add it to the list of tablets to look at. I'm asking all of my artistically-inclined friends, since I've gotten to a point where my sketching isn't horrible, and it may be time to try and build my computer art skills when I get my new PC this summer.
