gnuh. *flops* fucking tcl.
Tue, May. 24th, 2005 20:45the tcl are the bus company that own all the buses, subways and tramways going anywhere in Lyon and suburbs.
The tcl drivers find it normal to go on strike about five times a year. Okay. I mean, the price of the bus fare keeps climbing and their pay doesn't, and other problems, and it's not THAT easy a job, i guess.
IT'S OKAY BECAUSE THEY WARN US FIRST.
But you know what? I'm very sorry that a driver was attacked, i'm appalled that a little shit managed to put him in the hospital, i'm really hoping he'll make a full recovery, and I totally understand, say, the subway drivers of the line on which it happened to stop running in protest. BECAUSE THERE ARE ALWAYS BUSES ONE CAN TAKE INSTEAD.
But that not only all the subway drivers would stop -- still ok I guess, because fuck, what sort of stupid, crazy little shit do you need to be to attack the driver of the fucking subway that TAKES YOU HOME -- but that ALL OF THE FUCKING BUSES AND TRAMS WOULD IMITATE THEM?! ALL OF THEM??!? With no fucking warning, and in the middle of the day! Meaning people managed to go to work well enough, but going home? HA.
Thinking it was still only the subways, I walked for twenty minutes, then waited a half hour at a bus terminus, seeing all these buses arrives -- and ALL OF THEM putting their little "end of service" thingie and run past, and not a fucking one of them stopped to tell us what was going on, and "oh, by the way, don't bother waiting, we're not going to take you". I really need something stronger than bastards here, but i can't find my words. though, enculés works. RARGH.
I managed to catch a lonely subway and make part of the way home that way. The ride was about fifteen minutes long. Usually to go from school to home, it takes one hour. ONE FUCKING HOUR. WITH ONE BUS AND TWO SUBWAYS.
Guess who walked all the rest of the way home?
...
my feet are dead. (and stinky.) I arrived home and fell face down on my bed and slept until mom called us for dinner. I'm so so so so fucking glad that i have a free day tomorrow. It's a miracle. Whoever makes the planning, thank you a hundred times.
(now if you you could make it so that we don't have Odile tuesday...? XD)
whee, venting done. better now.
