* phoenix_melody wrote a Shikamaru POV scene and a Neji POV scene in the same 'verse as my little zombie fic thing. They're awesome. I'm especially fond of the Shikamaru one. also, i'm so not cackling for deflecting her attempt to bunny me right back at her. bwahaha.

* eeeeeeeeeeeee. Iruka and Konohamaru short oneshot by calenchamien. Still zombiescentric. ngh. I would say more but that would spoil things.

* Not for me or based in the same zombie 'verse, but still utterly awesome zombie fic! i should have gone to bed a hour ago but I had to read this first and I couldn't put it down, whee. rosalui wrote a sasunaru Japan-zombie fic in two parts part 1 part 2 and it's amazing and i want its babies. Oh man, the Sasuke in it. The worldbuilding!! So original.

* chronolith wrote a Saki-chan-based OT3 lemon. Wowza. I love the way she characterizes Sakura. And Saki-Sasuke. And Narut--oh, hell, I love how she characterizes, period. Also, it's sexy, sexy porn. Mmmyes.

* starr_bryte wrote a little ficlet based on one of my angsty narusasu rough sketches and (once again hon I am SO SORRY i am a SUPER JACKASS. T__T)


Also i've been reading branchandroot and lysapadin's Reborn fics and they're amazing. I used to read Lys' fics in the GW fandom -- I had no real taste back in the day so I can't say if she was already great or just goodish, but I've grown something like that since then and whoa is she good at it now. Though I can't say I prefer hers or branch's style, I don't think I can make a valor judgment like that because I tend to enjoy branch's ideas more due to how they mesh with my particular biases, but considering that they have shiny shiny shared universes I can thankfully say it ends up not mattering much. It's like if Maldoror and Ciceqi were teaming up, I wouldn't waste my time comparing the two of them, I'd be too busy entering the joygasm Olympics.
