Whee!

We managed to save kin's files onto my computer, and maybe fix the problem in her windows 2000 that prevented her from starting the computer (i'll have to wait for tomorrow to find out) and printed the stuff she has to show at her interview. and her dad is mailing her the windows CD so she can fix the comp as soon as she gets it, if using scandisk on it with my comp didn't. But it was a long day. We had to go back to her flat to fetch her printer and stuff (2 hours in the subway and bus), then steal my bro's comp because it's more powerful (JEALOUS), then install drivers and programs and-- lotsa stuff. (and we chattered like monkeys on crack, but that's a given)

Now it's not all perfect yet, but a lot less desperate. And my comp managed to do everything we asked of it and it didn't even die!! (even tho it wa slow as hell, but it's expected from compie)

...though the air vent is making a funny noise. But i'm not getting worried just yet, because it did that a few months earlier and then it stopped and we never knw why it made that noise or why it stopped making it. Maybe this time it will stop with no reason again. O_o

It was great that mom accepted to drive kin back home instead of letting her take the bus, since it was late and I don't like her walking in these streets after dusk. Mom hates driving in Lyon, especially after dark. There are so many one-way streets, it's a real maze x_x

Now I'm tired @_@ i'm going to bed, I hope I'll wake up soon to play with my girls *fondlegropes SaH girls* and then I have to go to my cousin's baptism. o joy. x_x maybe I can pretend that kin needs urgent help again and run off after church or something. <.<;;;
