Fri, Aug. 29th, 2003 21:40Daddy-dearest decided, in his infinite wisdom, to grant me a new bed. Which was unnecessary and costy enough (especially since I didn't mind sleeping on the floor), but whatever, he chooses.
He thus spent four hours in my room putting the bed pieces together, grunting, sing-songing, talking to me about things I don't give a shit about, snapping at mom for not reading his thoughts and farting.
My window is now wide open and will stay that way until tomorrow.
The new bed (that I didn't chose) has shelves "to put away my mess". It makes it so high that, being small, I nearly have to stand on tiptoes to sit on it. It's got a large frame too.
Large is good.
Except when the mattress isn't.
At least it looks sturdy enough... for make-it-yourself Ikea furniture.
Oh, and my internet connection has been wonky, to. I keep getting cut. Grrrr.
