You guys should not let me meme. I never finish all the prompts. I always end up with another brand new 'verse or three added to my load. I am bad with memes. baaaaaaad.

I'm blaming hiza_chan somehow. I was reading her genderswitch meme and then I was like OMG WANT. But I don't feel imaginative enough to write genderswitch ANYTHING, needs some limits...

Then I started wondering what would be different in teamwork if Sasuke was born a girl.


Give me one of my fics (anything I've posted in english, be it Teamwork, Restore, the Swingersverse, ofic... or one of those drabbles I wrote months ago *), give me a character to genderswitch (two max), give me a writing prompt (a word? a moment in time? a sentence? an action? note, I don't do well with poetic prompts. Hell, the prompt is optional. I might whine if inspiration doesn't come, though.)
* (apart from the stuff I posted nowhere but in that "what's in your files?" meme. That stuff's disqualified.)

Basically I'll write a ficlet inside a genderbent!AU of my stories. (I'd prefer a born the other gender AU than a temporary genderbending, actually .__.) I don't have the brains to manage brand-new verses or fun and different explanations for genderflipping right now.

Hopefully I'll manage to write you something. I'll do my best. I just. ngh. genderbending. I can't stop myself. I'm a memeholic.

FF7-verse, any verse, female!Zack teaming up with female!Aeris to flirt with Sephiroth and/or Cloud

(i will have you know that zack is a name impossible to feminize yet leave recognizable. yet it wasn't given out of symbolism -- her parents likely knew they were naming a girl! so I have decided that Zack-girl's real name is Jackeline, and she hates it with the fire of a thousand suns.)

"You want to have sex?" Gray brows furrowed, he looked the picture of puzzled annoyance. "Why didn't you say so? I seem to remember you being fully able to make yourself understood on that topic in the field. Mostly by barging in my shower stall and offering to wash my rear end for me."

Groaning, Zack slumped in her chair. All that gorgeous innuendo, wasted. She sneaked Aeris a glance and they both started giggling like mad.

"Oh god, Seph. We were --" It was hard to speak and giggle both, but she managed to choke the words out somehow. "We were flirting all day..."

"Should I have taken you seriously? I thought your relationship with miss Gainsborough was exclusive."

Zack's hilarity died down, replaced with a softer, more melancholy sort of feeling. Yearning. She wanted this man, who amongst his many, many bouts of social weirdness, would not even think briefly that two bisexual girls together might merely be decoratively passing the time. "It's... not casual, no," she said.

But she didn't want it to be casual with him either.

Aeris smiled, with dimples, and reached over the table to take her hand for support. "It's mostly exclusive in the sense that we're both really, really picky."

Sephiroth gave a slow, wary blink. Zack smothered a snicker in her hand.

"And I have been... picked."

"Yep."

"Should I feel flattered?" he asked, an eyebrow arched high and immensely doubtful.

"That'd be nice," Zack replied drolly, "but not necessary." Ah well, flirting was fun, but it was still a way not to commit. She looked at Aeris; who gave her a little nod, 'it's still fine, go ahead'. "We want to have sex with you. But not only that. It wouldn't be Zack-and-Aeris, plus Sephiroth sometimes in bed. It'd be... Zack-and-Aeris-And-Sephiroth. Or at least Zack-Aeris, Zack-Sephiroth. I dunno. Depends on what you want. What do you think?"

"I prefered it when it was merely juvenile innuendo," he replied, and he didn't sound sarcastic, he sounded subdued. "This is... not an easy question."

"There, there, we won't ride you to exhaustion," Aeris teased, but so gently it was clear as day what she meant; 'we'll be careful with you'.

She reached across polished wood and took his hand too. He stared at it for a long time, but he didn't pull free.

Awww so cute~ But I don't know, Zack being with Aeris while a girl is kinda odd. It just strikes me as odd when I was reading it. Maybe because I think their characters might be a little too similar then? D: It's really nice though, this piece.

Reading fics, even drabbles, about pregame Sephiroth hurt a part of me. He's just so confused and unthinkingly sweet, it makes you want to hug him tightly.

That being said, I can't really girl!Zack and Aeris working as well as Zack and Aeris do. I'm not entirely sure that they're too similar, as one would assume that their respective experiences would remain the same, but when one takes the gender specific experiences out of their past, then you do have two very similar girls who I don't really think would work as an exclusive relationship - not without a more calm-headed balancing factor. Aeris is wonderful, and I love Zack dearly, but .... I dunno, just don't think that it would work as well as Zack and Aeris does.
