I cheated because I have about twice the number of files there, but half of them are long abandoned, and often also nothing but notes and no prose, anyway.
Some of the ones I listed here might be all notes and no prose, too, but they're still ideas I'd like to work on at some point.

/Oh great, the plague of tourists has started,/ he sent to the black unicorn, and cringed as a camera was whipped out to snap a few shots of them.
Reiyel whinnied in that way that sounded suspiciously like a snicker, and shook his mane, straightening up, arching his neck in a way that let the wind blow it back artfully. Son of a bitch was posing for them. /Attention whore./
/Comes from being an all-out whore, baby-foal./
Askerian snorted and eyed the humans more closely. The father and another young male -- his son, maybe ? -- were carrying shotguns. They weren't utterly defenseless, at least, and there were no orks in the area. But still, he didn't like seeing them traipse around the countryside on their own.
"Mommyyyy, I want to pet the unicorns!"
Reiyel's ear flicked back. /Oh great, they brought their brat./ Askerian snorted, shaking his head, and started down the slope slowly. Reiyel blinked at him. /Don't tell me you want to be fondled by its grabby little hands./
/... If I must. But I just want to ask them where their guide is./
/Let me guess, you're going to walk them back to their camp?/ Reiyel asked as he slowly started after him. /You're such a do-gooder./
/You should be glad I am, otherwise I'd have ditched you ages ago. Now stop saying stuff you don't want them to hear, you still broadcast everything and we're almost in range./
Askerian came to a stop a few meters away from the little group. The father and son were holding their rifles as if they weren't sure if they should aim or not.

The whole family gaped at him, and he refrained from sighing. Had they even bothered to read the complete list of sentient species around there? Great, just great.
"MOMMY!! THE UNICORN TALKED IN MY HEAD!!"

It was good, Askerian reflected, to have a herd again.
Even if the herd was comprised of exactly one other stallion who wasn't even supposed to be a stallion and walked with as much grace and coordination as a month-old foal.
