Except I'm a ho so it's likely you might get a lot more than two lines, if there's that much to repost in the file. >___>

I cheated because I have about twice the number of files there, but half of them are long abandoned, and often also nothing but notes and no prose, anyway.

Some of the ones I listed here might be all notes and no prose, too, but they're still ideas I'd like to work on at some point.

The ones with * probably have enough unpublished material to be requested several times. XD

I posted the first chapter of this a couple centuries ago. Should come back to it at some point, huh. XD



He lifted his head to see his son's mate coming out. Chewing on a half-roasted animal leg, he arched an eyebrow, vaguely amused at the offended glare she threw his way. For such a puny thing she sure had a lot of attitude. Bardock lifted his roasted leg in a mocking salute and took another bite. Not half-bad, really.

He watched her advance on the kill with vague bemusement. He was almost standing on top of the carcass, a clear claim, yet she went right up to it and snatched its back leg to drag it off.

"I was eating that," he remarked mildly, not even growling, a foot on the neck of the beast to pin it down.

If she'd had a tail he was pretty sure it would have been stiff and puffed up all the way to the root. "What? I don't even -- the nerve!"

"Take food from your mate often?" he inquired, head tilted. What with how off Kakarott had been acting, he wouldn't even be surprised.

The alien bitch kept looking offended. "I don't need to take it, because I'm the one feeding it to him."

"Huh." He eyed the carcass. "Your kill?"

She reined in her anger, eyeing him with clear suspicion. "...No. Goku hunted it. But--"

Bardock snorted. Never mind then. "But he lost the fight." He took another bite. Hmm. Yes, he thought the taste could grow on him. Another couple of chomps and swallows, and he threw the cleaned bone over his head.

"What on Earth has that --" She interrupted herself, took in a deep breath. "Listen. He's injured. He needs food to recover. And he did hunt this, so --"

"So he lost the fight. Food's mine."

The alien's mouth opened and closed a couple of times. Bardock ignored her, falling into a crouch to tear a couple of beast ribs free. The bones snapped with a wet crack. Mmh, now that part was much less charred.

She stomped off as he licked his fingers clean. Red iron-based blood. It had been a while. So many species had orange or green, or transparent ichors, and that never tasted quite right. Made the meat taste off as well.

Reminded him a little of the korvaks back home. He almost regretted they never let one of those stupid collecting aliens land a toe on planet Vegeta and take a few for breeding purposes. Extinct, now. The korvaks and the collecting aliens both.
