Except I'm a ho so it's likely you might get a lot more than two lines, if there's that much to repost in the file. >___>

I cheated because I have about twice the number of files there, but half of them are long abandoned, and often also nothing but notes and no prose, anyway.

Some of the ones I listed here might be all notes and no prose, too, but they're still ideas I'd like to work on at some point.

AU 10. reversed plot role
(Valley of the End)


"I lost my mother too!" he screams. "I lost my parents. Stop saying I don't understand!"

"Your parents died traitors," the other boy snarls.

He flinches, shakes his head. "You think that means it doesn't count?! They were still my parents! They still -- they loved me. They were doing what they thought was right," he says, more quietly.

Naruto laughs. There are tears in his eyes but his teeth are bared. "Yeah? My mother did what she thought was right too. You know? She saved the village! And then a bunch of psycho bastards grabbed her and cut her open, and no one did anything about it. No one cared. No one's doing anything! Oh, our jinchuuriki is already lost, it's pointless--"

"Come home," Sasuke says quietly -- quietly, because he already knows Naruto won't listen.

Well, um. In this AU she was still the jinchuuriki, not Naruto. Akatsuki happened. Meanwhile Itachi went public with his "the uchiha clan is planning a coup" and Sasuke lost his parents and clan, but he's faithful to the village because Itachi is and always tried to protect him.

oooh this is great. I always wondered if anyone would be able to realistically write a role reversal for these two. This bit totally made me want more. Yum.
