NaNo... -__-;;

NaNoWriMo starts on Monday and I still don't know what story I want to poke at, or even if I really want to do it this year.

Anyway I don't have a new Ofic to prod, so it would either be more Mermaids in Space (... sorry, Mermaids... IN SPACE!!) or more Black Ops Werewolves.

Or maybe Teamwork. I dunno, it's all asleepy right now. *prods it with a stick*

I'm not feeling it. T__T The werewolves are love but I don't have a real plot. The mermaids have a plot but I don't have the love. Well, yes, i love them but. The werewolves don't have any interesting characters on other teams and local werepeople to interact with! The mermaids don't have any shiny mermaid and two-tail people to interact with! There's plot hooks enough, but for me who loves nothing more than character interaction, that makes things FLAAAT. It's like, okay, yay, my car has a motor, now it can roll forward without needing a slope and gravity to gang up on it. Neat. Now could I have some seats and a radio please? Also a wheel, a wheel would be nice. Cause otherwise I'm taking the bus.

*ponders Tyr/Liadan crossover interaction*

Also there's Real Life things coming up this month and I'm not sure how much I'll feel like writing. (it's nothing bad, job search stuff. I suppose everyone must go through that at some point. I'm just horrible at dealing with that kind of stress.) Or perhaps having something I must write would be a great distraction! No friggin clue.

As for Teamwork, I seriously doubt that it'll take me 50,000 words to get to the end of TW3. Though I suppose it would help if I could decide if the marriage is part of TW3 or its separate sequelthing! though at this point the sequels are all such an interconnected mess I suspect it's all mostly academic. Okay, no, TW 3 was the tournament, tournament'll be over by then, therefore since TW 4 is something else! that means Teamwork:Marriage is an interlude instead! A hugeass interlude. In several parts. Plus outsider POV sidefics. ahaha o self wat. Okay, not an interlude. TW3.5? I mean, i've got the Suna trip down as TW2.5 already. ...Someone put me out of my misery. DX

I feel for you. I wouldn't mind having bunnies thrown at me either, so equip them to some darts and send some my way, if you want. Who knows, maybe inspiring you will inspire me. I'd sign up for NaNoWriMo myself, but I tend to have these huge blank spots in the middle of all my fics that I have no idea how to fill. I'll get to the middle of a scene and come to a screeching halt 'cause I've got no clue how to finish it. Or the way I'd planned it comes out sounding stiff and dull. Whatever. It's irritating.

right now I'm trying to work out some kinks in a OP fic I want to write, but it's making strange faces at me. *cries*.

(and yes, I shamelessly borrowed the pic, but I thought it would rather appropriate for your situation.)

Yeah, that gabzilla's. Weirdly appropriate isn't it? I can just picture you with half a dozen dead bodies around you while you go "Damn, I broke another one!"

Ah, actually ... no i don't. Most of the people I know have zero interest in fanfiction. Or they're writers themselves and have little time to help others out. My OP fic is still in the stage of "Okay, here's where it starts, then a little later this happens, and this is how it should end, but what the hell to put in between?" I have a bunch of jumbled scenes, but I don't have enough plot worked out to know where to put them. It doesn't help that OP is an ongoing series. The only break I've got is the OP characters I'm borrowing aren't main charas (yet), and the majority of my fic takes place during the timeskip. Which can be frustrating all on its own. Only Oda knows what happened during the timeskip.

I'm whining, aren't I? Sorry.

D'awwww. You're so sweet! *Grinning like an idiot* Thank you! I'll probably email it to you, but the primary characters I'm using are Trafalgar Law and his crew. Although the only member of his crew whose name we have is the polar bear Bepo. Which I am using to my advantage. Yay for OCs! I'm still working on their descriptions. It's difficult cause everyone on Law's crew wears those bulky jumpsuits and hats. But personality-wise ... Kavi and Kiva Beltone are the twin engineers and they're playful pranksters who enjoy nothing so much as fighting (and pranking) each other; they're constantly trying to one-up each other. They just don't care who they hit by accident, as long as it's not the Captain. Still working on their backstory (I haven't even decided if they're boy/boy or boy/girl). Lucas Travine is the oldest of the bunch and the sub's cook and that's all I have for him so far.

I think I'll be doing some character generating before work

Ok, so I was more sniveling than whining. I'm pathetic. I'd call what you do griping more than whining. Griping is good. Makes friends want to help out. We all want to help teh Asuka! For she is AWESOMENESS!!

Oh, the LULZ! A National pastime, huh? As for Trafalgar Law I copied this from the OP wikia:

Law is an extremely laid-back character, who is nearly always seen smiling (although not with a huge grin). He also has a more reckless attitude when faced against other pirates that the World Government has labeled as a higher threat. For example, he casually asked X. Drake how many people he had slain in his very first appearance, and had no qualms about flipping off Eustass Kid, the most wanted Supernova on the Archipelago (even smiling defiantly when doing so). However, he hates being ordered around, as evidenced of his frown and following reply when Kid told him and Monkey D. Luffy to stay back as he would hold off the attacking Marines. He is, however, capable of knowing when he and his immediate Crew are in a pinch, and is not above resorting to forging brief alliances with rivals for survival. He speaks in a politely sarcastic manner and usually refers to others as "Mr". He appears to be honorable enough to refuse taking credit that is due to others. This is seen when he replied to Jean Bart that his gratitude is also deserved by Luffy when the former slave offered his gratitude to the Pirate Captain.

Law has displayed a more competitive side about him in the anime where he, along with Kid and Luffy, got into a childish argument about who gets to take down the marines stationed just outside the Human Auctioning House when the three Supernovas came out to confront them. In contrast, he does not seem as eager to reach the New World as the other Supernova crews are, believing that One Piece will still be there regardless while the other crews fight amongst themselves, and that he needs to steal the throne "properly".

Law also appears to have a sense of honor (or at least respect for those he sees as potential rivals in the future), which is seen when he appears at Marineford and claims he will help Luffy, because it would be "too lame" if his future enemy were to die there. This is in stark contrast to what most people seemed to think about him, since Scratchmen Apoo claimed that Law was infamous for his cruelty.

Law is also very blunt when responding to people. Such occasions include when Ivankov asked if Law was a friend of Luffy, to which he replied "no," and even offered to make an excuse to make Ivankov feel better about him saving Luffy. Soon after, a wounded Jinbei went to thank him, only for Law to replied that if Jinbei didn't sleep, he was going to die. Another occasion was when Jinbei asked what would happen to Luffy if he was allowed to run rampant while still wounded. Law simply replied that the outcome was simple; Luffy's wound would open up and he would die.

It seems to be a pretty thorough description. He's damn cute too, see here: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090329192412/onepiece/images/3/38/Law.PNG?iact=hc&vpx=135&vpy=111&dur=1676&hovh=221&hovw=228&tx=115&ty=144&ei=MkjKTNKOH4Sq8AaF7tT0AQ&oei=40fKTJfTOMP7lweso4WRAQ&esq=7&page=1&tbnh=156&tbnw=161&start=0&ndsp=10&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0

He's got a really weird DF ability. He can create a "room" and within this territory, he is capable of separating and spatially displacing anything and everything inside. With his powers, he is capable of making it seem like he can swiftly slice people up into pieces from a distance with his sword. He can also attach separated parts in any manner he sees fit, such as sticking someone's head to a barrel. People separated by this ability aren't killed, and can still feel their separated parts, regardless of the distance they were separated from each other (much like Buggy when he separates himself using the Bara Bara no Mi). The effect persists even after Law disengages the sphere. How, or even if, the separated parts can be reassembled is unclear.

So yeah. He's a really interesting character.
