Teamwork perked up today -- I woke up already coming up with actual SENTENCES while i was still half-awake and shit, I love that -- only to die again by the time I was done hammering out some wrinkles. I am Frustrated.
I have decided that the chapter itself is done, BUT I can't post it yet because it's pretty much just the scene with Team KyuubiFodder and that means a really short chapter, which is why it's got to wait for the sidefics to be written. They should have been actual scenes in the chapter, but they're really random and fractured and I couldn't make them gel together -- it's more of a "random shit that happened during the one month gap but doesn't impact much on what happens afterwards" and that's just awkward.
... one of the scenes is Sakura and her baby bulge. XD ... another scene is gaara and naruto discussing akatsuki and the other demon bearers, which will have NO relevance to the plot until TEAMWORK 4.
But anyway. I want to do a meme. Several memes! (not a writing, ficlet-making meme. a fandom meme or an idea meme or whatever.) I just can't figure out which. Welcoming suggestions. plz loev me. T^T
... hell, I think I want to try these, but am still welcoming other memes on top of it since I don't know how well they'll work out.
¤ Inspired by Doctor Who's "Turn Left:" Pick one of my stories and tell me a point in the tale that you'd change. Something tiny (e.g. "and then Fay chose silver glitter instead of gold") or big (e.g. "and then Rose was arrested instead of Jack") and I'll tell you how that one difference would have altered the course of the entire story.
¤ Give me a pairing (threesome/moresome) and I'll tell you my favorite get-together plot. (crack and crossover pairings encouraged. XD)
(... i think i'll have to limit the fandoms though. So. Naruto, Detective Conan/Magic Kaito, FF7 & 8, Gundam Wing, Kingdom Hearts, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, Avatar The Last Airbender, Rurouni Kenshin, Yuyu Hakusho, Harry Potter, Bastard!!, D.Gray-man, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, The Sentinel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity/Firefly, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate-SG1... you can still ask for others but it's likely I won't know them)

"Azula Wins" ending to the AtlA series. Sorry Zuko. Her father isn't fit to reign anymore, though, not de-fire'd. Her success knocks some sanity back into her -- not much, but enough that she's more stable than not.
Anyway blahblah crush the opposition blahblah horrific injustice and executions and whatever, everyone submits blahdiblah and then the war's over and she now requires a consort. So she can, you know, make an heir and stuff. But the idea is abhorrent to her, because mommy issues vulnerability during pregnancy issues trusting the daddy long enough to touch her issues etcetera.
That's when the priestess arrives at the court. Azula is wary as fuck at first, and irritated by her peaceful strength (peaceful people are WEAK! WEAK DAMNIT.) so they keep clashing and more than once Azula gets damn close to having her executed just because. She can't figure out her game! (also what kind of name is Earisu srsly.)
But being around her, Azula can just think *better* somehow. Be calmer for longer, not crack and go irrational so harshly. ... this is good, therefore suspicious. She must want something!
So obv. the best way to deal with the threat without losing the beneficial influence is to lock her up and cut off her potential contact with outsiders and spies, but close by so she can be at hand when Azula needs -- um, feels like prodding at her.
In, say, the Fire Lord's harem? Yeah, that'll do. >__>
Turns out it's pretty much where she wanted to go, anyway, because she's not fazed at all. Angry Azula attempts Molestation... which turns somehow into crying ohgodneverletmego comfort sex. go figure. Azula haaaaaaaaaates it the next day, but oh god she craves the acceptance and healing. craaaaves it. And back and forth and back and forth hate you need you stop *forgiving* me already WHO ARE YOU?
Ehh, just an envoy of the world to restore Balance. No, not an Avatar. Just the daughter of an Earth man and the spirit/ghost of an Airbender, one foot in each world, and by the way the gods have seen fit to grant you a child. It's in my tummy. :D
(of course explosions ensue because the fuck. the fact that they're both woemn might be the easiest thing to get over here, because when the spirits are involved weird shit happens and Azula knows for sure no man got close to Aerith in a while. But the contempt/hate/disgust re: she was starting to LIKE someone from another element + her heir wouldn't be *pure* make for major raeg.)

... and um damn it, we're going from crack to REALLY crack, when Serenity crashes on the AtlA world and the spirit of the world gets all yay about it. Azula is all "bring them to me :D" cause yay something INTERESTING (perhaps she asked the gods because she was getting bored or she needed something to do beside stay at the palace because then it's really too obvious when she's avoiding Aerith because she lost another argument with her XD. seeing as now azula is kind of spirit-touched there's a fair chance the gods actually *listened*. XD)
I don't think she manages to capture all of the senerity crew, but. Kaylee reminds her of Ty Lee and that's both >((( and "waugh miss her", but azula also needs some info on the crew to capture the ones who escaped. She'd try torture but... hm. Maybe try seduction/manipulation first. Yeah, let's go with that. >__>
Let's go with River unsettling her because she's crazy just like Azula is sometimes and that's an infuriating mirror to look into, and because she makes too much sense and sees too much and she should probably *die*, but the cat and mouse game is fascinating and she can *fight* ... and okay, they end up in bed. Or perhaps just on a carpet somewhere. oops. (awesome how that crazy girl can use her nails, though. Azula approves.)
Azula's spirit-touchedness translates into the ability to knock up other girls. XD Alas, when spirit-free people landed on the planet, it was so happy to grab for them, and Bending is so much more than just the dormant ability, but River is River and also now she's an Airbender and so would be all her children. When that comes out of course Azula attempts to kill her, and Kaylee brains her with a wrench from behind and they escape.
(btw, kaylee? also from Air. their dominant trait is freedom. Book and Wash are also Air, Simon is Water because it can heal and Jayne and Zoe are Earth, and I can't decide what Mal is. Perhaps Fire. Not to say they're all immediately *benders* because a big part of the ability is the spirituality, but the root is there.) (if someone is borderline two elements and one of them is Air, due to the horrible imbalance in the cycle Air wins every time.)
Of course this world being so backwater means fixing Serenity and getting the fuck out is really difficult. A big plot would be dealing with the "maybe we'll never be able to go back" stranded-ness.

Another big part of the plot would be dealing with how the Fire Lord now has three children, and two of them are Air Nomads and Aerith might be
evilspirit-touched enough to make the third a waterbender and the next Avatar somehow. XDRe: 2/2! roarrr.

And somehow despite the crackiness, your description of things between Aerith and Azula got me sniffling once I thought about it. :P
MAL LEADING THE REVOLUTION. Although that would actually have some sort of suspicious-eyebrow-y mighty-whitey things, so MAL HELPING WITH THE REVOLUTION. There. I like that. Because that man just cannot resist a revolution.
