I have such poor impulse control. But nevermind. It's suzukiblu/white_knuckle's fault. There I was, re-reading her old memes, and that one jumped at me and smacked me in the face.

Give me a pairing (or threesome if you insist) and a prompt (mood, place, object, etcetera). I'll write you something about their kid(s).

Fandoms: Naruto, GW, FF7, DBZ. Possible future kids in existing fic-verses allowed, except for Teamwork's first two Team 7 kids. 'cause, well, spoiler. No real objection to writing several times about the same kid either, so long as my imagination doesn't stall on it.

caveats:
-I make no promise to actually write them, though I do promise I'll try. My inspiration is a fickle, contrary thing in the first place and when I try to force it I get writer's block instead.
-I really suck at poetic/abstract prompts.
-If you give me a slash pairing but don't want/like mpreg, say so. It's not my default kid-giving choice, but still one of them.

That's probably a pretty good way of making sure your kid comes home before curfew actually.

Better than my Dad. After a school dance (it was 12am, I was 14) I called my Dad to get picked up as per our agreement. He told me to take the bus. When I said I had no money and everyone else had gone home he said to walk (45 min, though to be fair, in a pretty nice neighborhood). The next words out of my mouth were "Can I talk to Mom for a second?"
I got a ride home.

I think it's the 1st child/3rd child thing my parents have going on. I'm my Mom's first so she's supper protective, and I'm my Dad's third so he's really really really easy going.

Maybe it's also because your dad is, well, a guy. They tend to be raised to be less wary about going out at night/alone/in bad areas.

Maybe. I also have two brothers and he occasionally seems to forget that I'm a girl. I'm not sure how, I was a really girly kid and my brothers were holy terror ruffians.

Other times he's really "Eek! My little girl is growing up! T.T". Like when I turned 19 and casually pulled out a beer in front of him. Apparently it's a proud moment when your son does that, but heartbreaking when your daughter does.
