Hrrm. I don't really know Meyrin's character very well since i've only read summaries and watched up to ep, um, seven? and then the after-the-end bits. Though hee, it might be fun to read fic where they arrange it between themselves, and Athrun is all *flails* "h-hey!" It's sad that Cagalli is too busy for a full-time boyfriend, but I could totally see them with a timeshare. u.u-V

... Also, what are your thoughts on Meer/Lacus. *_* (nrgh i didn't want her to die T_T)




Athrun's birthday is, if one really wants to be crude, somewhat of an orgy. Presents? He can't recall anything specific off the top of his head.

... Maybe, maybe he can recall two or three moments.

They've toasted him and he's drinking when the doorbell rings, and Meyrin giggles. "Ah! Here is my present!" And Cagalli stands there, a little hesitant for a second before she plants her hands on her hips and dares him to have a problem with it.

He has no problem with it. He kind of thought Meyrin might, though.

When Meyrin sits on his lap, her back against his chest, and Cagalli gives him a mocking look and a "Here's my present" before she kisses his girlfriend -- his current girlfriend -- his other girlfriend? -- they're kissing, and he doesn't know whether to pull them away from each other and ask them what they're thinking, or to enjoy the scene, the knowledge that it's for him, they're both for him.

Meyrin isn't in a position to really miss what he thinks of it, though, and she blushes and her eyes gleam when Cagalli breaks the kiss to kiss Athrun himself over her shoulder.

He wants to be shocked -- ashamed. It's improper and abnormal and Kira and Lacus are watching!

But then Kira laughs, and says that since this seems to be the present he favors...

Athrun wants to get up before anything unthinkable happens, but Kira is holding his hand, not tight enough to hurt, just enough to make sure he can't get away. He gives him a gentle smile as Lacus takes her turn on Athrun's lap. "I have missed you very much," she says, and her kiss is a present from them both.

It doesn't stay simple kisses very long. After a while, he even forgets to worry too hard about any of it.

Honestly I haven't seen Destiny either, so I don't really know more than a very little bit about Meyrin or Meer, but the impression I've picked up of the latter is essentially 'Flay, only pink,' once you make allowances for differing circumstances and obsessions.

I like<> Flay. She's the only character in the whole younger generation who actually acts her age.

...I can totally see Meer coming to Orb after she gets out of therapy and going all O.O at the Representative's Harem and then looking at Lacus and going, 'Hm. Do you think he has any twin fantasies?'

Or maybe that'd be Lacus's line, I dunno.

...For Kira and Athrun's sakes, I really hope the gene teams thought to tweak the whole 'Orgasm = Nap Time!' thing when they were brewing up the Coordinator design spec.
