2) I hate Teamwork. Especially fight scenes and porn. From now on Team Seven will spend their days cuddling platonically and bantering.
3) None of my multiparts inspire me.

1) Choose two characters in the list. Yes, only two.
2) Then choose a mood. (content, melancholy, giggly, murderous, and the like).
3) Then if I'm inspired, I write you kissies. NO MOOD, NO KISSIES.

*Both crossover pairings and pairings I don't usually write are accepted. I'm not promising they'll be any good though. (you don't HAVE to request a crossover pairing tho, i'm gonna run out of ways to make the crossovers happen at this rate XD)
*Plz don't request impossible things, for example Sephiroth/Itachi with the mood "happy". :p I'm trying to keep the crack on the "strange but still sorta IC" side of things, I have this pathological need to explain what the fuck is going on and when I can't I get all sad.
*You can put in two requests at a time. I will either write one, write both (haha yeahright), or tell you "sorry, I won't be able to do this one." As long as you have two requests in the queue, please don't post more. If one gets written or "no can do", then feel free to suggest a third.
*There is no preset limit to the number of prompts -- I'll just close the requests when I realize I once again got in over my head. I'm sorry to say that people who request late will likely not get a ficlet, because my energy will have run out long ago. A few might trickle in late, though, you never know.

Jin ground his teeth together, narrowed his eyes threateningly, and placed a hand on his sword in a ready to draw gesture that had broken the nerve of many a would-be opponent.

Balsa took another sip of tea. "He'll be back when he gets back," she said, throwing him an unimpressed, heavy-lidded look oved the rip of her cup.

"You are hiding the Prince," Jin said slowly, biting out ever word. Anything he could have said after that fell flat, though -- 'Tell me or I'll kill you'? She didn't need the favor of the Prince to protect her. 'I could have you arrested for it'? Only if they managed to catch her.

"Feel free to search the house."

Jin's hand clenched on the hilt of his sword. She sneaked him a sideway look from under long eyelashes, unimpressed. Her spear was propped up on the wall; she'd have the blade to his throat before he finished drawing and they both knew it.

"... Sit down," she said. "Drink some tea."

Jin breathed through his nose, rather than letting his temper get the best of him -- because Balsa the Spearwielder would get the best of his temper and his pride both. Hard. "I do not want tea. I want to know--"

"--Where the prince is. I'd tell you if I knew," she said, looking both amused and resigned in about equal measures. "He didn't mention it. But he's with Touya and Saya; Chagum could talk Touya into just about anything, but she'll keep them both out of trouble."

Jin wasn't reassured. Of course almost no one would recognize Prince Chagum for who he was -- no assassin would expect him wandering the city in disguise as a peasant, and it was taboo for commoners to gaze upon the Imperial Family so no one would know him on sight; but his quality shone through even the most grim of disguises, and he did not tolerate injustice. Those differences made him a potential target for bullies. At fourteen, the Prince was showing some promise in the arts of war, but he was still slender; and Jin would be dishonored if he came back with even one bruise, one trace of dirt on his fair skin.

He loved the Prince like he would love no one else, with a devotion that burned, and if he could die for his sake, being of use to him, he would say it was a life well-lived; but if half the things he wanted to tell the young man right this moment passed his lips he would probably have to cut off his own tongue.

Jin growled his frustration and let his hand fall from his sword. Balsa smiled faintly, a secretive smile that he was pretty sure was mocking him in some way.

"Don't fret. He's safe enough."

"Safe enough would be him at the palace, locked up in his bedchamber."

Balsa chuckled. "Ah, it's no use trying to put the chick back in its shell. Jin... He's safe. And right now, he's happy."

Jin hesitated, poised on the balls of his feet. Balsa couldn't -- wouldn't -- help; he'd been about to leave and start searching on his own.

She'd just said the only thing that could have stopped him.

He turned away, stared at the door he wasn't going to walk out of. "... Your aim is good," he acknowledged quietly. With words or with weapons. It was an admirable quality -- admirable like a good blade, and often cutting just as deep.

"Thank you," she replied dryly. "Sit down," she invited again. "If you leave to look for him now you'll miss him coming back. You might as well stop looming while you're at it."

Jin's brow furrowed farther. "Thank you for the invitation. But I am on duty."

"You're in my house."

Jin tensed up, shifted so his side was to her, his hand back on his sword. There was a new tone to her words; like she was reaching the end of her willingness to tolerate his attitude. His skin tingled; his heart sped up.

Fighting against Balsa was always dangerous, and so far had always ended in a loss to him. But the rush of finding himself matched, of countering skills he had never practiced, the drive to prove his skills, his worth...

Jin's life was not his own to gamble on a whim, and Balsa was a personal friend of the prince, not to be challenged for the pleasure and the pride of seeing how far he had come. But if she challenged him first...

"Whatcha thinking about, babe?"

Aeris blinked and looked up, giving her boyfriend an absent smile. He'd been smiling; he didn't really stop, but his brow furrowed in concern.

"Aeris? You okay, hon?"

She chuckled and waved her hand as if to cast off his worry. "I'm fine, I'm fine. I've missed you, is all."

"So why're you moping instead of enjoying my radiance? I radiate very sexily, you know."

She burst out in giggles. "You'll never change."

"Nope, never, ever, ever. So, where were we -- ahh. You were thinking you're not gonna stop missing me anytime soon, is that it?"

Aeris looked away briefly. She'd always had good insight, born from her bond with all living things -- but Zack's insight came purely from his own personality.

"Hon, if I could I'd be with you all the time. But you know how it is..."

She smiled at him, to show there were no hard feelings. "Monsters to slay, people to save. Big responsibilities. I know. I still miss you." She grinned. "My big hero."

"And don't you forget it." Zack laughed with her, leaned closer, forehead to forehead almost. "I miss you too, but as long as we keep on meeting like this it's fine."

Aeris's eyes softened. "I'll be with you soon."

Zack looked stricken. She brushed her lips aginst his cheek, and then his unsmiling mouth -- lightly, lightly, so the strange, too-cool tingle almost seemed to come from contact with real skin, chilled with winter. It was late spring. "Go slay Cloud's monsters, love. I'll be waiting for you."

She straightened up, away from the green glow of the Lifestream wellspring, and the light sloughed off her hands, allowing the ghost to fade away.

She knew when the time came he would be waiting too.

Shuga/Jin - relief. ♥!

"Oh, thank the gods."

Shuga leans over the edge of the riverbank, pushing his sleeves up pale arms so they won't trail in the muddy grass when he reaches for Jin. The bodyguard is climbing back up the slope, drenched from head to toe, and the ground is so traitorous.

"Lord Shuga, please step back," Jin insists between clenched teeth as he claws his way up inch by inch. "The bank might break under your weight." 'Again,' he doesn't add, though really it was the combined weight of Shuga and his instruments that did it. Instruments that Jin dived to find before they were washed away, after he grabbed Shuga to shove him back to safer ground.

Shuga leans forward anyway, after he makes sure he has a solid grip on the young tree growing behind him. He can see how cold Jin is, and the warrior's light armor and thick waterlogged clothes are making his ascension difficult.

The ledge sags suddenly, pieces breaking off into the water below. Shuga's eyes widen, and he grabs for Jin instinctively when he sees the warrior drop a couple of feet. Jin tries to hand him the case with all its precious measuring instruments. Shuga lets it fall right there on the grass, and catches Jin's wrist instead.

"Lord Shuga--!"

"I can replace them," Shuga says, and stares at the other young man. He cannot replace Jin's life.

This time when he pulls, it goes too well. Jin managed to find a foothold, and suddenly he's propelled forward, and he knocks Shuga to the ground. Shuga's expensive layers of silk robes were already streaked with mud and grass; but now Jin drips on them as well, braced on his hands above Shuga. He radiates cold.

Shuga doesn't care. One of his arms is wrapped around the sapling's trunk, in case the ground goes again; the other arm is wrapped around Jin's neck. It won't let go.

He's shaking a little and he's not sure why. He isn't the one soaked through to the bone.

"Jin." He swallows, his throat dry. "Jin, are you --"

He thinks he pulled down, or pulled himself up, or maybe Jin fell down on him. And then there's a body pressing down against his, leather and buckles he can feel through his long-sleeved robes, and their mouths together, breathing too fast in panic. Almost died, he almost -- safe now, but he almost -- could have -- gods, gods, the ground dropping out from under them, could have died -- either of them, both of them.

The kiss goes on, not deep but open-mouthed. They're still panting in shock, in nerves. Shuga's hand clenches on the back of Jin's neck, thumb rubbing against shorn hair; Jin's fingers tangle in long silver strands.

"I think," Jin says eventually. "We should... Move."

His usually cold, wary eyes are strangely soft, strangely confused as he moves to the side and sits, cautious. Shuga straightens up with his eyes on Jin's face, catching every nuance.

It's the first time he kisses a man. Or anyone, really.

He wants to do it again.

"Let's go home," he says. "You need to dry off."

She drops little kisses all over his neck, up and down and up again, nibbling and licking. Sasuke is statue-still, expression remote and displeased.

"Karin. Get off."

"I'm trying to!" she whines.

Her hands are starting to inch up his shirt. He catches her wrists, holds them away, but she only shivers in renewed arousal and uses her natural bendiness to press herself close, no matter how much it strains her joints.

"How many times do I have to tell you no before it sticks?"

Damn. She needs to switch tracks on the conversation right now. "I thought you were supposed to take care of us! You're our leader, right?"

Sasuke blinks slowly, disbelieving. "It's not like intercourse is necessary to your survival."

Karin hangs her head and bites her lip. "... Actually..."

"... You're joking," he says flatly.

Karin stills in his hold, though she keeps putting her weight on her wrists so the muscles in her shoulders burn deliciously. "You remember how I heal people?"

"By absorbing your chakra via biting. How is that relevant to your need to have sex with me?"

She shivers at the memory of how good that particular pain felt. "It's not biting that does it. It's mingling our chakra fields, via putting a part of your body inside mine."

Sasuke gives her an incredulous look, annoyed. "So you could fuck me back to health. Great. I'm not injured."

Karin's eyes glaze over at the thought. Argh! She needs to concentrate on the here and now. Her fantasy blood-soaked Sasuke can wait. She lowers her head, like sharing a secret she had been trying to keep. "You don't get it, I need to get chakra from somewhere! I've been using a lot recently, and I just... Well, I can't make it up on my own. Sasuke, my body is starving. Literally."

He frowns, then, and she can see he's starting to believe her. She leans closer, a pleading look on her face.

"... So you're... A kind of chakra vampire?"

"Well -- I suppose. Actually -- it's closer to succubus." Sasuke's eyelid twitches at the word, and she can see he's a little bothered. She tries to look hungry and not horny. "Though I guess it would also work if you cut me open and put your hand--"

"No."

She's a little disappointed, to be frank; healing afterwards would be a pain, but there's something exceedingly intimate about someone's fingers on your inner organs.

Sasuke sighs loudly, pushes her off, and... lets her wrists go, freeing her. "Alright."

Yessss!!

"Juugo! Come here."

And as she blinks in shock, in the middle of reaching for him, Sasuke arches an eyebrow at her. "He has a lot more chakra to spare than I do."

"Wha -- hey -- no!"

"You're starving, aren't you? " Sasuke says, implacable and not half as fooled as she thought.

Karin hangs her head. Well damn. "...Nevermind."

Sakura tightened her grip on a handful of blood-red hair and tugged back, slowly and inexorably forcing the other girl to her knees. At no time did she take her mouth away -- or her teeth, worrying at Karin's lips, leaving them red and flushed, sensitive to the teasing brush of Sakura's tongue.

Karin strained against her hold, but Sakura wasn't above using chakra to reinforce her grasp, and on that field she was the best, too. She growled soft; threatening in Karin's mouth, smirking when a shudder ran through the redhead's frame. Hah, she'd known it. The bitch had a thing for danger? She would get it.

Sakura tugged on her hair, a painful reminder of who was in control, pushed a booted leg between Karin's knees to force her to widen her stance. And if she was right...

Her tongue pushed in Karin's mouth, past her teeth -- she wasn't bitten. Her gamble had worked. As Sakura pushed her tongue in and out, forcing Karin's jaws open, the redhead mewled in need and pressed herself against Sakura's boot.

Sakura pulled at the hair in her fist, forcing the redhead to arch back, presenting her throat, on the edge of balance. Karin sent her a glare that was half venom and half need.

"You'd love it if Sasuke did that to you, wouldn't you?" she asked, almost sweetly, as her big toe rubbed against the seat of Karin's pants. "Everyday you hope he'll push you down, call you his bitch, and make you suck his cock."

Sakura knew. She had never really wished the same -- apart from a couple of times, in old fantasies; she had a lot of those, very varied -- but she wasn't blind, and she wasn't stupid, and she could read people.

Karin was barking up the wrong tree, and she didn't even know it, and Sakura wouldn't have cared except it was her tree.

"You little --" started Karin, but Sakura just slapped her across the face.

"Tut-tut. I didn't tell you to speak." She pulled on her hair again when Karin tried to protest some more; Karin hesitated, glaring resentfully.

Sakura smirked down with contempt, and rubbed her toe against the crotch of Karin's tiny shorts again. Karin shivered, thighs trembling with the need to clamp down on Sakura's ankle, but she didn't move.

"That's a good girl." Karin tensed to fight; Sakura had miscalculated. She gave the hair a twist, distracting her with pain. "... A good slut."

Ah, there it was, the flutter of eyelids, the slight stutter of breath. Humiliation-based, Sakura classified dispassionately.

"You were asking for it, weren't you? Showing off your ass like that, being so shameless... Begging someone to take notice." Not quite, not quite -- why did Karin like Sasuke again? ... Ahh, right. "... Someone strong. Someone cold." Her voice dropped into a soft, deadly whisper; it wasn't hard, she just had to think of the way Karin treated Sakura's people -- insulting Naruto, Sai. Wanting to take Sasuke. "Someone pitiless."

Karin moaned softly.

Sakura leaned down, almost crooning to the girl in her grasp, lying with her whole being. "Here am I. Aren't you happy?"

Karin swallowed, opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out.
