XD Quatre reads as so. so. SO gay to me. Also I can't see his interest in Dorothy's wellbeing as anything but "I care about EVERYONE and i'm civil to EVERYONE, so yes, even you, even though I don't actually like you too much". Now it could make a starting point for a good multipart, but I don't see it happening too easily.

But mostly I just don't like the dynamic. They're too civilized -- and Quatre is civilized AND gentle, he'd take all the bite and the sneaky out of Dorothy and that's what I love best about her. XD;

Well, Book is funny at times but to me he doesn't really feel like part of the core crew. It's like he holds himself back and watches but doesn't participate much. Also since I was raised catholic(ish, vaguely) I have this expectation that preacher = celibate. Now I have no idea if that's true for Book's religion, didn't pay that much close attention, but I just can't see him shack up with people. XD;

And they'd have a "this is your heritage" thing. GT!Trunks seems way too human to have a different code of behavior, and he kind of behaves as if she was his little sister anyway, I think. But then I haven't seen all of GT. It burrrnns, preciousss.

... and I just remembered the most shiny idea in the whole game was the Knight/Sorceress bond and I really wish I liked Squall/Rinoa more because I really really want to read AUs exploring the potential more-than-just-a-job-title connection. I mean in canon it's not explicitely anything, but... I don't know. It makes my psychic bonding cravings perk up.
