I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna link to teh porn if I suddenly feel like writing it again. I'm not into chan and while I rarely specify the ages I tend to make my characters mature-ish anyway, (okay Naruto and mature in the same sentence kind of sound weird, but Naruto would be immature about sex even if he was 75, that's the kind of guy he is. XDD) but the way things are going right now... Apparently on deviantart the very fact that a character is underage IN THE SERIES means the character counts as underage forever and ever or something, because god knows anime characters only have three ages; baby, fifteen, and gray-haired-with-wrinkles, and if your anime picture doesn't have gray hair and wrinkles, if means you're a dirty pedophile, nevermind that it's only because the art style itself isn't realistic enough to tell. Somehow I don't see LJ growing to be very different.

I don't want to lose my LJ because someone imagines I was writing about Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura's 12 year old selves just because I didn't find a way to shoehorn a clunky, misplaced OH AND BTW THEY'RE CURRENTLY 35 mention in the narrative in between scenes about moving into new apartments, marrying, and doing their regular killing-people-for-money job. ~__~

One solution would be to friend back people who like teh pr0n and then lock anything that's NC-17 rated. (on that note, how am I supposed to find the older ones again. I never tagged them according to ratings, and I'm pretty sure I didn't tag everything. XD;;; Anyone got em bookmarked?)

And then, well, if you want to be added to my fic-and-pic pr0n filter (which will probably be rarely used) just comment here and when I've got it figured out, I'll add you. (Though don't ask if your profile states you're 14 or something, please. If you really want to read my pr0ns, it will end up on adultff.net or I'll mention it in my update list, and I can't block you from those. As for the pics, um, I guess my site was due for an update anyway. >.>;; )

well, I wouldn't advise to lock your posts 'coz they seem to go there as well (I don't remember where I read that, but I believe they attack someone for an f-lock post which wasn't in their norm).

I think it's stupid that deviantART is like that... you know, it's not even a REAL PERSON, to top it all off -____- I guess it's hard for people who are outside of a fandom/etc to realize "oh, hey, they're OLDER IN THIS PICTURE. Can't you tell by the GROWN UP ANATOMY? and lack of LANKINESS?"

If they're going to disallow that, then they should disallow artistic nude and fetish art too. They should disallow art of children all around, because, guess what? There are some creeps out there who will follow a picture of a child to the child.

I'm sure half of it has to do with bitter people within deviantART flagging images of couples/people they don't like just for the heck of it, and using the "they are underage" as an excuse to get the art either mature contented or deleted, or the artist suspsended. I hate fandom for that very reason.

As for LJ, I'd hate to see it go down like that so I think locking your entries is a good thing. I need my OT3 fill so I'd like to be added to the filter if that's okay with you.

The user has been in contact with some of the LJ Staff (specifically, Rachel, who's dealing with the current crap). The issue of art is still pretty much iffy, but this was interesting:

LJ is being majorly stupid and because of it there's even reportedly legal action being taken against them. I personally think that most of the fandoms don't need to be TOO worried, 1. because they only go after you if someone reports you and 2. because most of the trouble seems to be in HP fandom, most likely cause parents who like HP look at their kids LJ and report. And like others have said, I don't think locking things will help any. Whoever's blowing in the stuff over at pornish_pixies is a friended member; if someone wanted to turn you in, all they'd have to do is get friended and do so. I suggest making an InsaneJournal with the same account name as this and posting your things there. When you come out with something new, you could then post something here along the lines of "It's at my IJ under the same name as my LJ." No link, and people have to type in a URL, but it gets around that link issue.

I agree with all these people who are reccomending IJ- it's just as easy to use as LJ, and the community there seems to be growing pretty quickly.
