Ah, sorry for taking so long to reply. :x I wouldn't mind anything changing at all! I just shot out with five years because it seemed like it might be a good place to be. *Had no idea.* XD

Maybe the equivalent to what his flashbacks provided in the anime, or just some crazy early days, or something quirky about his life. They're cyborgs and Uchiha, so... were they still family? That was my aim for my request, does that help at all? ^^; I'd be happy with anything like that.

Um... In case you need more? I'm not sure how precise to get here! So I'll throw out some suggestions? ^^; From what you just said, maybe he was conditioned/trained/"raised" to be "more human" and had people or Uchiha to work and socialize with for that, like Mikoto? (Mommy! <3) Or any early interaction with Itachi?
