... Why does Blue have emo hair and a twig-like body. he's so wiry, I'm not sure how that impresses anyone. XD (he's taller than Arun, though -- Arun is kinda stocky.)

I like your coloring. It's got such a soft texture to it.
For coloring, I like low-opacity airbrush and lots and lots of layers. I've fallen in love with CS2 for most everything, though OpenCanvas is still really nice for lineart. If you're doing digital painting, Painter 9 is amazing, it mimes the real media. Are you using a pallete-and-sample setup?

I only have photoshop 7 and my computer doesn't handle layers too well (my brain either XD) so mostly I work with three, four layers and lots of "whatever works". I don't really have a specific method. ^^;
