recycled Naruto rant that makes me come off like an elitist, controlling bitch.

I don't begrudge people the right to enjoy fics using a looser sense of canon, they can be very fun as well; I just get a bit twitchy when that fanon is so accepted that it becomes strange to actually use stuff that's not totally raping canon. Also, I desperately needed something to rant about, so here. Whatever.

oh god i can't read NaruSasu fics anymore, I just can't find any new fics that don't make me barf. noooo. I don't want to lose all enjoyment of that pairing, damn it, they're the closest thing I've ever had to an OTP. T_T /whine

HAHAH..Asuka, I am SO bookmarking that page. XD. Even though you claim that you don't have the best handle on Naruto, I think this clearly says otherwise ^^ Honestly, that's the best dissection of Naruto's character I've ever read. And your bits of humor in there were lovely as well, haha. Thank you for reminding me of my utter love for the kid (in addition to his most previous "I won't give up on Sasuke" rant in the latest manga chapter, haha).

And I haven't found any good NaruSasu fics in such a loooong time ;__; You know what this means right? You're just going to have to write one b/c only you can meet your standards, hehehe. Ok, I'm just kidding because I know you've got a lot on your plate already, but...it was worth a shot, haha.

The good ones I've found are currently on hiatus or something, haha. Like maldoror_gw's ANBU, hehe. I adore her GaaraLee but still...like you say, NaruSasu is my OTP.

And I find the best way to find quality fics is to read those recommended by good authors. After all, a good writer knows good writing. Sometimes if I'm really bored I go browsing the fics at aff.net or ff.net and I just want to cry at what NaruSasu has become in the fandom. But we should take a hint from Naruto and not give up! XD

Oops, long reply. Sorry! *hug* Keep the NaruSasu, Asuka! No one writes them the way you do and it'd be a blow to the fandom if you ever left ^___^
