oh boy, asshole reviewers, it's been a while.
So I got this review on "girls want to have fun too".
Come on "of course not silly,"Thats a bit weak.Where is the violent cursing we all know and love?
I replied something along the lines of "yes, of course naruto would swear at the girl he likes when she's obviously sensitive about it, riiiiight" and then asked if he hadn't found anything else to nitpick about. I was polite, though sarcastic. WTF, I don't like pointless reviews.
His reply:
Sure NAruto swears, but he uses baby swears like damn.Those don't count.
Secondly, I wasn't looking for anything to nitpick about,I just like
swearing.I don't really know what you mean by "he's going to violently
curse at the girl he likes when she just
admitted something she's visibly extremely sensitive about", because he
didn't swear much in the story...just acted gay. That one was kind of
weird to read.Anyway,I hope to be posting a NaruSaku fanfic I'm working
on soon.I'd appreciate it if you read it,and gave me any pointers you
had.My writing skills are still rough around the edges,so the
suggestions of a skilled writer such as yourself are valued highly(no

I was being sarcastic, actually. Point is, from what i've seen in the
series, I think he wouldn't swear in this situation, and this is really
a minor and inconsequential thing to gripe about anyway. If that's the
only point you can think of mentioning in a review, then please don't
bother reviewing at all. I want to see what people think about my story
in general, not about their personal preferences in matters of swearing,
especially when the swearing has about zero importance in the first
place.
I'm sorry, but I will not read your story. I have absolutely no interest
in NaruSaku (or even SasuSaku). I am a NaruSasu and NaruSasuSaku fan
first and foremost.

story really odd.In your reply it suggested that you wanted to keep the
characters,at least Naruto,somewhat in character.From my point of view
it looks like you miserably failed to do that.I don't think I need to
press that subject any further as the support for my statement should be
obvious.That was my only major gripe with the story,aside from the main
plot which I found to be foolish and almost a waste of time.I do however
commend your writing skills since you did a good job creating
description and imagery.
It doesn't concern me too much that you don't intend to read my
fanfic,as I just mentioned it as a freindly notice and would have
appreciated suggestions.Maybe I should have given you a serious review

1) I appreciate the real review you gave me. Or more like, I appreciate your effort (why didn't you do that in the first place instead of that stupid one-liner? You made me lose time and some respect right there.)

You are attacking my self-confidence in the way I see the characters, and yet you are not giving any concrete proof to support your argument. Therefore, until you indicate HOW I am OOC, I will dismiss this argument as a stab in the dark, hoping to touch something I might be unsure about.
(and if you refer to my making him bi : I understand that you might not like the idea of Naruto with men. It is certainly not an obligation. But liking men doesn't mean not liking girls, and therefore there is NOTHING in canon that contradict the fact that Naruto might be willing to experiment with a boy he trusts and has friendly feelings for. So this is NOT OOC; it is simply a matter of personal preference in the reader. Your preference isn't any more right than mine is, and if you think otherwise, you automatically lose.)
-1b the fic was a fluffy, borderline PWP thing, and you call it "foolish" and "almost a loss of time". Well, DUH. That's what I wrote it for; an uncomplicated piece of character interaction. If that wasn't obvious by the first lines, I really wonder what the hell you kept reading it for. If you wanted serious plot, you would have been better off trying an actual multipart fic. I really wonder at the fact that you chose to read that one, if the only thing you like about my writing is the technical side; it isn't as if I haven't written gen pieces and multichapters. One might almost think that you were looking for het smut and were disappointed when it failed to appear, and are now attacking on other fronts to disguise that fact.
2) If you want to end an argument, I would suggest ending it because you did make the most sense , not because you were afraid you'd lose it and decided to slam the door so you wouldn't have to hear anything that might contradict your opinion that you're right and other people are wrong. ^_^ See, I don't mind losing an argument when i'm truly presented with proof of that ; I do mind people going LALALA I'M NOT LISTENING ANYMORE BECAUSE I CAN'T STAND THE IDEA OF BEING PROVED WRONG. It's not only childish, it's cowardly and pitiful and makes me lose a lot of respect for you. You want an argument, you stay in it until the end; you don't get to decide that it ends because you know that if it goes on you won't stand the heat anymore. ^_^
You sound less stupid than the majority of fanpeople out here, and you might even grow to be an intelligent debater, if one day you get rid of that "my opinions are The Ultimate Truth and What I Say Goes" attitude. It's only blinding you to the possible validity of the other side's arguments and makes you comes off as something of a self-righteous, self-centered asshole. At the moment, i really can't be arsed to care about what you think, since obviously you don't give a damn about anyone's opinion but yours.
And unless you are going to reply to my arguments with intelligent rebuttals instead of blind stabs at my ego (which is quite solid, thank you very much), I will now ignore you. ^_^
