i need someone to sit on me and make me think about why the scene won't work (it's SO EASY i can FEEL it) and then keep prodding me and telling me "close this youtube vid and show me what you wrote since fifteen minutes ago, asuka", "stop looking for fic you don't even really like and write your own, asuka", "STOP EDITING THE PREVIOUS CHAPTERS. NEW STUFF ONLY."

He didn't say 'kill'. It was still all talk, even with the dark murderous vibes he gave off. Sakura felt a twinge of relief, mixed with anger and an odd sort of hurt. Even with Tsunade-sama's punches, she still wasn't an opponent he felt he had to take seriously. Turning his back on her so casually -- it stung. He would never turn his back on Sasuke like that.

For a second she considered acting meek, pretending to be harmless, submissive, trying to talk him out of things. Flattering him maybe, calling him Kyuubi-sama so he'd be in a better mood and no, to hell with that.

"It's alright," she said, in what she thought was a pretty calm tone, all things considered. "It's pretty fair. I'll be doing the same."

Sakura punches the ground, in a combination a frustration and attention-getting dramatics. Cue homage to shippuden that would have otherwise been lost re:collapsing underground tunnels. XD I have all kinds of motivation for writing a fight scene right now. Fanbrat entitlement-bitches at me on my LJ, scrapes over last nerve, and gets banned (only the second time I've done that in the history of my journal). Fanbrat THEN stalks me on FF.net and leaves another entitlement whine that boils down to how she didn't swear at me so therefore (a) she's entitled to have me drop everything and do whatever she demands regardless of whether it's even appropriate to the story or to my own interests and (b) she clearly expects an apology from me without (c) even remotely acknowledging that she was either demanding or offensive. HAHAHAHA NO. >.<

Will looking through any of your entitlement-moron-reviews set off your "fight kill maim now" spark for you?

This was probably not helpful at all in giving you motivation to write a fight scene. Sorry. Although, maybe Sasuke could then kick some butt while Sakura and Kyuubi are otherwise engaged (and the other team is watching in odd fascination). Then Sasuke can be all pouty about not getting sexed up by Kyuubi.

Or maybe that can just be for a crack chapter later on in the storyline. XD

Shino costume? Ohh. You going alone or as a group?

Not a huge one. Just me and my bf (well, and a bunch of other non-Naruto friends). We're doing Shikamaru and Temari one day, Shino and Hinata another day, Shino's all I've got left to make. XD also, .hack OCs, but that's another matter entirely.

I'm totally being a brat and proposing (for reals) as Temari in the middle of the hallway to supply my own fannish desires. /dork

But those two costumes are recycled from two years ago so they're a little meh. My Hinata coat though... I'm in love XD I never thought I'd say it but I own at cosplay. I just hope Shino's turns out as good - his undercoat is flipping hard to make.

(I might poke at you, then. Mine's mnlghtshdw42, and it always SAYS I'm away, but, y'know, I'm not really.)

Honestly? This seems like a perfect set-up for some mf action. Kyuubi is just going to destroy team summons if Sakura doesn't distract him, and she only has one real reliable way to do that.

And isn't she a bit more, ahem, in tune with the beast inside when she's hopped up on demon chakra anyway? She's rather amorous at the end of Teamwork 2.

It might seem like it could go that way, but hot sexytiems is SO NOT what the plot demands right now. Alas. XD I know what needs to happen, I just need to get there and skipping would be too cheap.

Also when she's more in tune with the beast, well... I'd think the beast's fight or flight response would strengthen hers, instead of the "mate!" coming out of nowhere.

... But mostly I fail at wrting sexytiems. -___-;; I'm already planning a hopefully sensual/dark moment in the scene, but it's not gonna end in actual sex.
