So this is how I choose which ship to draw in twosome pics. Which means compared in terms of how much I enjoy reading/thinking about the twosome ships, I should draw a lot more NaruSasu, a little more ItaSasu, and a lot less SasuSaku. But guy bodies are harder, and girls with small boobs are the easiest body type for me to draw, so while I like Sakura a lot, she ends up in a lot more of my pics than she should statistically be. (... that's when I don't just draw sexy no jutsu!Sasuke. >_>;;; But I figure I draw Sasuke often enough as it is.)


So when I draw a pairing you don't like, 1) there's a huge chance it's not my OTP at all, and 2) even if I don't ZOMG OTP what I draw, I will kick your teeth in for trying to tell me what I'm allowed to like or draw anyway.


no, I didn't get too much bashing recently, well, no more than usual, but I'm suddenly in a bad mood anyway. Mmmmm original fiction plagiarists. So the babble ended on a way pissier note than it started. Rarrrrr.

Not sure on Asuka's thoughts, but it's easier to draw a curved line than a straight one properly. Girls are mostly curves, this makes us easier to draw. Guys are mostly flat planes, (well... if in shape, they are.) so it's harder to draw them right.

Also what animeprincess said. But also because girls are more bendy so you don't have to worry so much about how far the skeleton really bends and twists, with girls you don't have to remember exactly how the arm and chest and back muscles attach and where they would bulge depending on the position and the strain, and they're generally more graceful to look at. XD

I don't know why, but it just gets to me when fantards elitests rant to other people about their OTP, and how yours sucks and that you should burn in hell for ever even contemplating the physics of characters A+B when everyone KNOWS A+C is TWUE LUV! And that you eat babies. But everyone knows it's true, so who cares?

Dunno why, it just rubs me the wrong way. As in "STFU you ignorant worm! If you don't like it, GTFO! DX"

What bugged me the most in recent memory was someone who's supposed to be a semi-intelligent member of fandom getting snotty about my "advocating sideshipping" and "I'm sorry, but that's cracktastic at best" because I, like, dared to do a NaruSaku/SasuHina picture. Liek whut. I'm still WTFing over that one. D:

But to be honest, I'm a SasuSaku girl at heart so..
I swear, the world needs more SakuraXSasuko, I can never find it and it's just so frustrating. I mean, I try to do some myself of course, but Sasuke can be such a bitch and he's all like "I hate you, rawr" and I never know how to make him look!
I think he's just angry because I always make Sakura the Seme... But still!

Only about a fourth/third of the time. XD When it's a good pic, I think that stuff up before I start it, you know, composition, background, expressions, but most of the time when it's a simple shippy thing I let the pencil decide.

Ah ah! ^O^ I also find girls easier to draw, but that's probably just because I've been drawing them ever since I was a child, and I've only started with guys recently (with many awful experiences of 'Ok, now let's draw Sasuke/Ichigo/Ishida/whoever! ......well, shit, he looks like a girl. Better redraw him! ..........ggggaah, he STILL looks like a girl! >_<).

I think the gender you draw more often after a while starts getting easier to draw automatically.

Oh, and as for pairings, LOL! ^^ I like your decision-making process! I usually decide which characters I'm going to draw beforehand, but the scene and the positions NEVER come out exactly like I want them... *shrugs*

And I'm really almost never bothered by art that 'contradicts' my OTPs. I usually save it, actually. As long as it's drawn well, I'm very easy-going as far as fanarts are concerned... it's fanfics I cannot read, if they don't adhere to my idea of the characters (and using pairings I consider very WTF falls into that category). Even then, I just stop reading them. No sense in bashing it because I don't agree with the author. *shrugs*

Yeah, when I was a teenager I drew guys a lot more and they were easier back then. I don't know when that stopped. T____T

Eh, sometimes I decide what I'll do before then, but when it starts as a simple random sketch, usually I don't have much of a clue what it wants to be. As for the scene and position, yeeeeah I feel your pain. x__x

♥♥♥ YES omg. It's art, it's visual! if it's nice to look at, i'll fave. When it's fic, it's about personality and interaction, and sometimes I don't think it works or I don't want to waste hours reading it, so I'm more "strict" with fic than with art.
