joisbishmyoga: Take any one of the fandoms you know I write in, and give me a type of AU (space opera AU, pirate AU, superhero AU, Ancient Rome, etc). I will then explain what story from your chosen fandom I would write for your chosen type of AU.
Fandoms : Naruto, Final Fantasy 7, Gundam Wing, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, D.Gray-man, Bleach, Harry Potter, The Sentinel, Seirei no Moribito, Dragon Ball Z.
edit: ... oh, i love my family so much. I'll go back to the meme later if i can, but right now i've kind of lost the worldbuilding mood. grrrr.
-I'm still poking at the old kissing meme from time to time, but it's not going fast. .__.;
-In FF7 ficcage news, I think my main problem with it is Aeris' characterization. She's supposed to be wise and mysterious in some way, yet down to earth, optimistic and flirty, and in this scene, she should come across as relieved of a lot of worries yet still commiserating with Cloud and Tifa's own worries -- but she comes across as pretending she isn't haughty, and expecting Cloud and Tifa to be glad and happy to have her and Zack back, to the exclusion of their own feelings.
It's strange how I like Aeris better than Tifa in-game, but Tifa is so much easier to write semi-properly. I mean, I'm still not a Tifa specialist, but it's easier to give her some sense of dimension. Aeris... nope. *sigh* Will need to rewrite the last scene I wrote, I think. In the meantime, I'm poking at a few Aeris-centric drabbles. Maybe writing her POV will help... Anyone got good Aeris-centric fics to rec?

But I'm immensely curious how much of Gundam Wing's philosophies and 'feel' you'd be able to keep in an epic historical fantasy piece, so I'll ask about that instead. ^_^
