boooooooooored. Anyone's got surveys to fill? There's one floating around, but I think either I filled it already or it's so alike the previous one it's not worth it. ;__;
-Naruto is not allowed to name anyone after anything related to ramen. At all. Ever.
No, Misoko would not be an adorable name for a little girl.
-Sakura has veto power on anything, no questions asked. But if her kid to name ends up being a boy, she's not allowed to give him a flower name. Even to fit in with her family tradition.

-Sasuke is not allowed to name them after dead people, because it's depressing and they want their kids to know they're not instead-of. Traditional family names are okay, as long as it won't make the kid get laughed out of the school yard.
Don't even joke about calling them Uchihako or Uchihamaru.
I've been having a lot of fun creating Naruto OCs recently. Team Summons, NaruSasuSaku's future children in Teamwork... And I'm realizing that I kinda like it. *gasp* Not as main characters, but as secondary, hell yeah. XD
If you have ideas, questions, something is unclear or doesn't work for you, please don't hesitate to poke and prod. What's there is not stats on existing characters, per se, it's me taking an idea and running with it. It's still not the definitive version. They're not going to be super-important, but I still like imagining stuff about them, even if it never makes it into the fic.
-The summons don't come from their families, they were handed over by their jounin-sensei, matched by personality.
-They're around 15-16 and quite good at what they do (otherwise pitting Team Seven against them would be boring. XD) Their sensei just wanted to make sure they would go through the tests without much hassle. (also it's actually pretty rare to have rookies in an exam. There were lots of teenagers and adults in that room. Okay, they all ended up weeded out thanks to plot-no-jutsu, but I think 15 year old is an okay age for a first chuunin exam. XD)
Zenko (zenkokourou: (exp) one calamity followed close on the heels of another (lit: keeping at bay a tiger at the front gate, while a wolf appears at the back))

Personality: haughty and proud, of her beauty and of her prowess with her sword too, very conscious of her image and class, not very chatty, sarcastic and bitchy. Judges people for what they are, and often harshly and contemptuously.
Unique Characteristics: knee-length black hair, dyed blonde bangs, makes up her mouth with just a stripe of red in the middle of her lower lip, narrow face and eyes narrow and tilted a bit too high to be pretty, but she convinced herself it gives her a smart, sharp look and doesn't mar her beauty any. (she's not as flawless as she thinks she is, but somewhat striking)

Likes: winning, showing up people she doesn't like, her favorite wolf summon

Hobbies: curious about a blacksmith's job, but she just likes to watch and learn how to recognize a good blade, she doesn't really want to try it herself. (mostly because the one time she tried was a horrible failure and she'd rather pretend it never happened and she never even wanted to try, than risk having it happen again.)
Friends, significant others: Maneki is a better friend to her than Kon is -- she argues with Kon often, Maneki is more calm and steady -- but they're all friends. Too good for boyfriends, but she'll allow admirers to send her stuff.
Longterm goals: taking the leadership of her family.
Character as she sees herself: Powerful, warrior-princess, superior, doesn't get attached
Character as others see her: standoffish, aggressive bitch (most people) prideful, painfully honest, fiercely loyal (friends)
How does the character react to stress? : She gets very quiet, gritted teeth, verbally aggressive if someone else says useless things, might even attack even someone stronger than her if she feels caged-in enough. She can't stand not being in control, or having someone she doesn't trust in control (which is basically her parents or uncles, her sensei, and her teammates).

-Murder? (Killing in self-defense? Killing in cold blood? Could she do it and how would it impact him?)
Killing is part of the job, which she can do in cold blood, and she would kill someone who makes her furious enough. She doesn't like it, but that's more for the losing control aspect than because someone died. She's not very sympathetic. Also, a job is a job -- it's distasteful, but it must be done. Still, she likes missions where she can face off against someone on the battlefield a lot better than killing from behind or with poison. It leaves her honor and that or her adversary intact, and allows her to use skills she is proud of.
-Sex? (importance of chastity, choice of partners, opinion on others who don't share her views? "not there yet"? Homosexuality, in herself, in others?))
Chastity doesn't matter, but indiscriminate people are to be sneered at. Have some taste and decorum, people. As for herself, she feels she is too good for a lot of people and has better things to do. She will tolerate admirers, but she has no interest in sex. She tried it once, because her Kunoichi teacher said it was better to lose it voluntarily than on a mission, and the physical side was alright, but nothing to write home about. The boy tried to kiss her afterwards, which was not alright at all.
Homosexuality is an oddity, but one she doesn't much care to dwell on.

As long as it's not one of his people, and it won't come back to bite him in the ass, he doesn't really give a damn who dies by his hand. He's loyal to his people more than to his village, though, so unless they did something that he took as a betrayal of HIM, he would side with his friends and feel the need to take revenge if they were executed. He wouldn't be able to kill them himself unless they betrayed him, and the whole thing would hurt a lot.

He wouldn't necessarily correct a girl who thought he was a little more serious than he is. He's a little asshole like that. Right now he likes the chase and the bedroom dance more than the relationships. (not that he's as suave as he thinks, and in many cases he never goes farther than first or second base -- but you wouldn't know it by listening to him.)

Outsiders are super-interesting, and he wants to watch them for days and figure out how they think (and then make up outrageous stories which are better than the truth.) They're not as real to him as people from his homeland, so ehh, if he spreads rumors and stereotypes, it's all in good fun and he doesn't care to learn the truth. Truth, lies, the most important thing is that it's interesting. (of course intel-gathering missions are different. He can be professional.)
Maneki (Maneki-neko: beckoning cat; figure of a cat with one paw raised)
Body Type: very tall, bulky, all muscle

-How did his family impact the character? : He knew how to meditate at seven -- necessary because before that he was prone to extremely violent tantrums -- and that has given him a good control on his chakra use. He can relate to both ninja-since-forever and first-generation people, and he knew that if he chose another way his parents would accept it, so for him being a ninja is a well-reasoned choice, not a natural state of affairs.
Likes: cats, books, passing as someone eighteen or above simply because of his size.
Dislikes: being disturbed makes him angry.
Hobbies: writing (adventure novels -- Kon always wants Maneki to write him in as a character, when he doesn't tease Maneki for it)

Curious, but he never found himself a girlfriend who was willing to go past hand-holding and it was all very awkward; he's so huge that girls his age find him a little scary, or think their girlfriends would find it ridiculously funny. He's not ugly and he has a nice smile, but he's not very outgoing around strangers either.
He likes Zenko. He just doesn't tell her, because he knows she finds romance and sex stupid, and being friends is important and comfortable enough for him; he doesn't want to ruin it. She'd offer to let him have sex with her, and it would be awkward and embarrassing and not at all what he wishes for, so...
He doesn't really think about homosexuality because he doesn't feel concerned. He wouldn't think less of someone for being gay. (if he was hit on by a guy, he'd be really, really surprised, since he doesn't think he's all that attractive. Might be a little uncomfortable and that would make him scowl, but nothing worse.)

Maneki (Maneki-neko: beckoning cat; figure of a cat with one paw raised)
Body Type: very tall, bulky, all muscle
Age: 15 (birthday somewhere between Zenko and Kon)
Personality: looks calm and rather quiet, but he's got a great sense of humor, he just doesn't share it easily, and is hiding a bit of a temper as best as he can.
Unique Characteristics: Very tall and large, tanned skin, pale blue eyes.
Ninja techniques:
-Genjutsu: some skill with common techniques, nothing exceptional but he's meticulous enough to get the job done (* * *)
-Ninjutsu: summoning technique: Cat summon (* * *), medical jutsu (* * *), antidotes and poisons (* * * *)

Background:half and half family -- his mom was a ninja, father a monk.
-Education: Academy -> genin, with some tutoring by his father on things like literature, which the ninja academy doesn't focus on.
-How did his family impact the character? : He knew how to meditate at seven -- necessary because before that he was prone to extremely violent tantrums -- and that has given him a good control on his chakra use. He can relate to both ninja-since-forever and first-generation people, and he knew that if he chose another way his parents would accept it, so for him being a ninja is a well-reasoned choice, not a natural state of affairs.
Likes: cats, books, passing as someone eighteen or above simply because of his size.
Dislikes: being disturbed makes him angry.
Hobbies: writing (adventure novels -- Kon always wants Maneki to write him in as a character, when he doesn't tease Maneki for it)
Friends, significant others: Likes Zenko and gets along well with Kon; not dating at the time.

Character as others see him: patient, listening, Huge Dumb Oaf (if they don't know him), Almost-Shy Bookworm/Philosopher (if they know him a little more -- lots of people see him look pensive and write for hours, and assume, based on his stature and mature face, that he thinks deep thoughts, not pirate adventures.)
How does the character react to stress? : Says nothing and continues... continues... until he has a burst of temper. Then he takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, centers himself, and continues.
What are the character's thoughts on : (how would he react to:)
-Murder? (Killing in self-defense? Killing in cold blood? Could he do it and how would it impact him?)
Self-defense isn't even a question for him. He can kill in cold blood, but would rather avoid it. He thinks it shouldn't be the first solution to everything, since it's also the only solution you can't take back.
-Sex? (importance of chastity, choice of partners, opinion on others who don't share his views? "not there yet"? Homosexuality, in himself, in others?))
Curious, but he never found himself a girlfriend who was willing to go past hand-holding and it was all very awkward; he's so huge that girls his age find him a little scary, or think their girlfriends would find it ridiculously funny. He's not ugly and he has a nice smile, but he's not very outgoing around strangers either.
He likes Zenko. He just doesn't tell her, because he knows she finds romance and sex stupid, and being friends is important and comfortable enough for him; he doesn't want to ruin it. She'd offer to let him have sex with her, and it would be awkward and embarrassing and not at all what he wishes for, so...
He doesn't really think about homosexuality because he doesn't feel concerned. He wouldn't think less of someone for being gay. (if he was hit on by a guy, he'd be really, really surprised, since he doesn't think he's all that attractive. Might be a little uncomfortable and that would make him scowl, but nothing worse.)
-Theft? (is it okay to steal from rich people? Big companies? Shops? Little grandmas? Only when he's dying of hunger? Only when he can't buy clothes? Only when the owner pissed him off? None of the above?)
On a mission or when he's hungry and has no money, he'll do it, but he doesn't really like it. If possible at all, he'll leave something of value behind (Preferably where Kon won't find it, steal it, and give it back to him afterwards.)

Reserved, because they could be spies, but they're all people, and if his mother hadn't taken a chance with his father, he wouldn't be there.
