Come write Psychic Wolves for Lupercalia - A Multi-Fandom Mini-Fest, February Thirteenth through Fifteenth!

Bluh. Why do none of my fandoms fit with telepathic wolves. I tried to come up with something for Stargate Atlantis but the only thing I managed to visualize was episode one with added wolfsister who is actually not quite John Sheppard's but used to be the sister of that guy he tried to rescue who died on him instead. And she changes NOTHING, which means this is not a good fic idea, and I don't want any longer, more divergent fic because, uh, because maybe it's a sign that I should update the Gundam Wing one I started last year faster instead. .__.;

But if someone wanted to write SGA/SG1 with wolves I would be so happy. SO. HAPPY. The happiest.

Sawtooth is limping.

He's not the only one who's hurt, but - Sawtooth is limping. Sawtooth doesn't get injured. Sawtooth doesn't have weaknesses. Squarewave, Squarewave gets injured all the time because she doesn't say what she should or act like they want, and Hal has all of you as weaknesses (it's nice, knowing that, like - like having a cuddleable thought, only no one can see it and take it away from you). Sawtooth is the stone-cold fighter who always knows just what to say to drive everyone off. Sawtooth doesn't get injured. He gets other people injured. Sawtooth doesn't have weaknesses. He takes advantage of other people's weaknesses.

Sawtooth is limping, and it's your fault.

You're useful. You're useful because you're small enough to get into places that none of the others can. You got sent into this one to get some more supplies, but you weren't expecting guns and tracking dogs. You were careless.

You were meant to call for Sawtooth if you got into trouble, but this was your fault. Your fault, your problem. That's what Sawtooth would have said. So you ran a bit further than you were meant to and yelled for Hal - only Hal wasn't there, she was further away than you'd thought, and you only got the dogs' attention and they were running up and then Sawtooth was there, being supercool ninja and he got you both out of there but one of the dogs got him because he was too busy rescuing you to protect himself.

You don't get why he rescued you. You're here because you're useful. If you got yourself into trouble you couldn't get yourself out of, doesn't that just mean you aren't useful enough to be worth keeping?

Maybe he's worried that Hal won't let him throw you out of the pack for her. She's worried that he's gonna try for packleader, which is kind of dumb of her because everyone knows that you never try for packleader when scout or enforcer is so much more fun, but if he didn't bring you back maybe she'd be mad about it.

You'd be planning your lies about how the trouble you caused isn't so bad, but you can't because there's proof that it was laid out in toothmarks on Sawtooth's skin.

Sawtooth is limping, and it's your fault, and you're gonna be thrown out of the pack when Hal hears.
