So apparently I hadn't updated my site since february of last year.
Yeaaaah, i'm feeling it. been updating nonstop since yesterday.

I really like how you're going with John and Jade being tanned. It's pretty different from most interpretations I've come across
and also makes a smoking hot contrast to Karkat's skin.Also, good for you getting your site updated. God knows keeping up with things like that is always a pain in the ass.

IDK, i've seen the tanned!intepretation around some, like philippino!john or polynesian!jade and i like the polynesian/hawaiian one a LOT, so it's kinda turning into my headcanon. It's not the most common but as non-white alternates go it's the one I see the most.
In Battlefield Terra General Hass Harley is part polynesian, and Jade is more tanned than both John and Jake somehow as a result. John can pass as white but he tans real fast. I wish I'd had the idea earlier in the fic, before karkat described him as pink, though, there's enough white people as it is and part-polynesian!still-blue-eyed!john is sexy as fuck. So.

Glad you posted this. Journals and sites that are organized, tagged and generally being given care and attention are a treat ^__^
Also, because of this post I somehow ended up reading a baby meme from 2010 and WOW
"Anyone/Itachi, grocery shop" and "ItachiSasuke, candles" and its prequel are some of the best things you've written. The style is incredible and they're all around awesome and just so good.
Going through your journal for more snippets like those above I also found a meme, I think, where you said the best reviews you got for one of your fanfics were for "Locker Room Therapy". I have to join in and say that's my favorite out of all your stories.
One of these days I'll write a proper review for it.
