Mermaids IN SPACE -- Main trio + corporation bad guys
Blue is so thin, my god, eat something. DX
And the in-theory bad guys from the yet unnamed corporation... I say in theory because apart from Dwight, who is a raging dickwad, they're mostly antagonists by circumstances. Especially the little old lady, whoa. ♥♥♥
And I kinda want to write stuff about my mermaids and I need to kick the story awake, so if anyone wants to select two or three names in the list and a mood and/or topic of conversation, i'll be all bwee. (no guarantee i'll be inspired, though. the bunnies are fickle.)
Merpeople: Liadan - Eurwen the old shaman (man, I need more of those.)
Scientific people: Arun - Krish the Geologist who lies rocks more than people - Sunil the doctor in biology who is Arun's friend (a guy btw) -Iru and Kass (the dolphins.) - Rohit (Arun's brother.)
Space pirate people: Blue - Khiaw (captain) - Alind (smug annoying astrogater) - Lujayn (fighter woman) - Oriana (shy/broken) - Vartan ( ex-military cook) - Dhaval ( genderfluid fretting pilot) - Darel (look-at-me little smartass) - Cat (the ship's cat) - Ferret (the ship's ferret.)
EvilCorps people: Ashur (Telekinesist bulldozer) - Tzahov (Bulldozer's handler and nominal not-so-bad cop) - Mrs Simtan (grandmotherly bad guy) - Dwight (ambitious asshole.)

Is it just me, or does Dwight seem like the kind of guy that makes people want to punch him? Look at that pose xD

Dwight is a raging asshole. He's all in love with his own image of being some awesome SHARK of the corporate world, and he's the kind who, when a specialist he asked for his opinion says "it absolutely cannot be done in less than two days/100$", he'll answer "I want it tomorrow for 50$" and if the guy can't do it then he's fired. He's of the opinion that all those specialists are lying to make themselves seem more special and earn money without pushing themselves. So either you fail his little tests and you're useless, or you succeed and you prove him right. >___>;; Suffice to say, so far he's the only one of the characters who kick the bucket that I'm not mourning much.

Hmmm, well, Liadan, Arun, and Blue are the only ones I've got a strong mental picture of, so them! Them and srs!discussion of why humans are so attached to wearing clothes.
