Still writer's blocked. I kinda want to do another kissing meme or dialogue meme, but we all know my track record with any meme that implies I actually need to write shit instead of just babbling away. >__>;;;;

1. Comment to this post with the name of a character that I have written in fics. Or geeked out about. Or RPed. You should probably make sure it's one I've written more than once or twice.
2. I will comment telling you the following:
A. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.
B. One of his/her best traits.
C. One of his/her worst traits.
D. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
E. The story/chapter/paragraph/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character (if I've written them).
F. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.

A. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her: The haircut of doom. T^T
B. One of her best traits: Her determination. When she gets all RAWR! I'll do it! she's really awesome. ... Also she's a closet perv. XD
C. One of her worst traits: How meek she gets at times, usually when it's convenient for Kishi. DX
D. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character: It REALLY depends. Sometimes she's not as extreme as Naruto or Sasuke, but that can be good or bad depending on the day -- she's harder to look at and say "yes, that sounds entirely IC" precisely because her voice and attitude isn't quite as distinctive and in-your-face as her boys.
E. The story/chapter/paragraph/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character (if I've written them): ... Oh man I have really no idea. Like I said, I've got a hard time judging Sakura's ICness. Also she's a character with a lot of facets, so there's her soft tender side and her depressed side and her haha of course i'm not a pervert side and her ROARRR FIGHT side and her snippy girl-rivalry side and... geeze. Too many.
The one that comes to mind right now is this one, though:
"You're hard, Sasuke," she snapped back with surprising anger. Under her, Sasuke had stopped breathing. "You're hard and you want it, and like hell you're going to have 'I was drunk' as an excuse every single time this happens. So I'm giving you a choice."(...)"Tell me it isn't for me, not even a little bit. Tell me I'm not hot enough for you, tell me you just don't like me like that; tell me whatever. But tell me now, and mean it. Because otherwise I'm going to have sex with you."
I'm not sure I can exactly call it IC but I'd sure love it if she ever got to this point in canon. ... Not necessarily the lemony side XD but the ability to stand her ground with Sasuke and call him on it when he steps out of line, and the act of demanding to know what she means to him, instead of just suffering in her corner and second-guessing everything.
F. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future: Teamwork, probably.

I have trouble working with Sakura too, but for slightly different reasons. I can sort-of tell when she's IC (or close enough to work); my problem is getting into her head and working through her thought processes so I can say to myself "Is this how she'd react to this situation? Is this what she would think about this or that?" It's a lot easier for me to do that with The Boys because I have a (very weird) personality and thought processes similar to theirs.
But YES, I want to see Sakura stand up to Sasuke and - preferably - beat him upside the head with the metaphorical Two-By-Four Of Emotional Epiphanies.
