Still mildly writer's-blocked, oh joy.

I don't feel like doing a review of this week's naruto chapter yet; maybe later today or tomorrow... As for One Piece OOOO ACE I did not expect that. I'm interested in his character now and I think it's the first time since he popped up in the series that I even found him more than vaguely interesting. Yay for familial bonds. (strangely it means right now I ship him with Luffy a little less. oh self. XD)

Posted the first chapter of Newtype on ffnet, though I must have changed maybe two words here and there from the version on LJ.

Sasuke would probably have left anyway, but he didn't know where else to go, and also he had about three months to calm the hell down as he healed from the damage. (It was very damagey. u.u)

As for The Night it was nothing very interesting beyond what's already written, just more of the same. XD;

I'm now having vague ret-con bunnies to explain how the hell Kyuubi managed to influence the two of them as well as Naruto, because man was it cheap. Pheromones? wut.

Oooh. I'd forgotten the actual Sasuke story elements of that fic...I'd focused on the Itachi/Kisame "brother" joke.

Fox pheromones wouldn't even have any effect on people anyway :P

And if they did? Brainiacs (a now-cancelled TV show) actually did an experiment with pheromones. They sprayed one nerdy guy with pheromones, put nice-smelling deodorant on a midget, and had a really buff guy stand their shirtless. His scent was "sweat." Then they brought in a girl and told her to pick the one that smelled the most attractive.

She was repulsed by the pheromones, and did of course pick the guy wearing deodorant.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the girl was blindfolded.

I should probably write a Sasuke POV on that time after the valley of the end, though. Kinda skimmed what it was like with the series of ficlety naruto prequels, but it doesn't really get into Sasuke's point of view. *ponderponderponder*

XD Maybe it wasn't the right pheromones. Or it married wrong with his personal scent, and it needed to be someone she was already attracted to. And Sakura already finds naruto hot, secretly! ... but, actually, I was rejecting the idea of pheromones as farfetched already. The problem is, it leaves me with nothing else right now. I'm trying to figure it out, but hrrm.

He's the Kyuubi. He's the "A Wizard Did It" of Naruto. Does he need to explain himself? Srsly.

Oh man, I think by the time the tournament starts they still haven't... that I know of. Not officially, anyway. They had a few weeks of training as they lived together where Sakura was always either with Tsunade or about to fall asleep on her feet, and then the trip to Suna, and then they went straight from Suna to the chuunin exam and I didn't come up with anything in between that would work as a date... Dude. This is a major failing on my part. Thanks for bringing it up. DX I've got to figure out something -- possibly during the Suna trip... guhh.

yeah, I don't think there were any hints that they didn't share at least their mom? Or their dad, since Ace seemed to really dislike Luffy's dad to the point of not taking the same name... But that they would't be blood related at all, whoa. Also, here is another weird japanese idea that some things come from the bloodline instead of the personality and education, such as Ace's ability to become the pirate king and suitability as such. Prrt. *__*

the chapter review is mostly when I have something to say. It has grown into a regular habit recently, but I think if I told myself i'm obligated to make a post every single week i'd start hating it entirely pretty soon.

i actually kind of like the idea of Ace trying to become pirate king... esp if it means he'd compete with his brother. That would be epic. though i guess Ace has to not-die in the current arc first.

The Hinata sidefic is in progress... has been for a year actually. I lose. ~__~ As for yuriness sadly enough there isn't any at the moment. XD *prods ino and temari with a stick* I'll poke at the hinata one again.

How about an after dinner with the Harunos scene where Sakura's parents take her aside and tell her that she is lucky to have two caring boys in her life.

If not then the reaction of Shikamaru (who was always Naruto's best friend in the village) or Lee to the Team 7 arrangement. Or maybe even Kakashi talking to Iruka or Asuma about his feelings on his students' new relationship. Or maybe Temari, Gaara, Kankuro's reaction when they realise that Team 7 only need 1 room when they come to visit.

I am also curious about the point where Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke get really comfortable and accepting of their relationship....that ah ha moment where they all realise that they are in love and have the love and support of their teammates/lovers. ^^ This would be sweet, based on your sidefic Fox Play (my fave) they are very comfortable with each other (while Sakura is still preg) and their relationship and I would like to see the point where they get there.

I know some of these dont qualify for missing scenes since the scenes havent been written yet but it is within what has already been released. >.

XD Sakura's parents aren't gonna say anything like that for a good long while. At the moment it's more like "we understand you like them and we'll respect that" with an undertone of "but when it doesn't work as well as you thought and you change your mind we won't be surprised."

Lee's reaction is in progress, and shika's, ideally, would be adressed in the Suna sidefic... damn but I do need to write that one or what. DX; i'm afraid Kakashi would do a lot of changing the subject onto some other topic if anyone tried to broach it with him. He's not very gossippy. Also I did one where he and Asuma talked about it once here, you can see how far that went. XD

As for the comfortable thing, it's going to be very gradual and i don't know whether they'll ever have a ah hah moment at all. ^^;

The first time that all slept next to each other. Not porn but how they worked out who slept where and how they dealt with each other being close like that. (Can see Naruto wanting to be in the middle for some odd reason. XD) And waking up next to each other. Who woke up first, who kept getting woken up in the night with snoring, and all that stuff. Cause as far as I understood it, Naruto and Sasuke never shared a bed all that often when at Sasuke's place 'cept that once after the burning instance.

Cause I mean they would of been sleeping near each other for ages in missions, but sharing a bed, where someone can roll on top of you and all that awkward stuff that happens.

XD;;; that's in teamwork 2, in the middle of naruto's last chapter. (dun remember whether it's part 1 or 2 of such, though) Naruto gets the middle because sasuke wants a quick escape and sakura needs to be able to get up to pee and throw up as need be and the blanket would be awkward to navigate without uncovering the boys if she was in the middle. Sasuke wakes up first, naruto wakes when sakura tries to leave the bed and she tells him if he doesn't let her get up she'll throw up on him. or pee on him. I forget. Then he's all woe about it.

I should work more on their sleeping arrangements and other domestic stuff, though. It was only one scene, and the sleeping stuff needs longer to sort out. *adds another issue to add to the Suna sidefic* (that rolling on top of someone idea sounds funny XD i might steal it. ♥ )

Is there a part in either Teamwork 1 or 2 that they actually get told they can participate in the chunin exams? Somewhere where Team 7 go before the elders and the council and the whole deliberation. Who is for and who is against them taking the exams?

Baby's Ultrasound/Chakra equivalent? She's what...five months along...close to? Did both daddies go with her? How did they react to healing the heart beat?

Ace is utter awesomeness....though I'm still scratching my head over his birth.....Roger went from being almost no one to someone a I feel bad about, though...
