-Naruto Shippuden's latest episode was hilarious. They added stuff, of course, but it was so deliciously cracktastic and didn't mess up anything, so hey. Oh, Gai and Kakashi. Oh, Hinata. And MY GOD has Kiba always been that hot? o__o Mmmmhhhh. ♥ Not sure I like Sai's voice yet, but it does fit him well enough.

-I am not writing. Why am I not writing? I think the problem is that I know how to end it (it's Teamwork, naruto's chapter) but I have no clue where to start, and if I don't start then I can't get to the middle and said end. Nrgh. I need an interesting start, damn it! I'm going to lose ground on NaNo! THIS CANNOT BE ALLOWED.

-Also need someone to beta Crossed Wires' latest two chapters for me, because I think the FFnet people who follow it are pretty sure I died. >_>;;;;;
----Also need to figure out where the hell this new subplot is going, because umm, to be frank? I have no earthly idea. That's not what the fic was supposed to be about! (But hey, not regretting it, Naruto needs some of that spotlight too.)

Never thought I'd say that -- I LIKE Jiraiya -- but goddamn it, hurry up and die so we can get something else than 17 pages a week of Jiraiya jumping to and fro, doing stuff that's supposed to be OMG SO IMPRESSIVE (whee! hermit mode is so awesome! It... gives him a drunkard's nose. yay?), and looking stupid for the mandatory Silly Joke of the week, and Pain looking like he's trying too hard to be the Mighty King of Freaks or something. His piercings are so goddamn stupid-looking. My gooood let it end already. I die of the bored.

I agree. Jiraiya needs to send off a message to Naruto about Pain's plan and die already so we can get back to Itachi, Sasuke, and Naruto's game of Follow the Leader.

Haven't watched the new shippuden episode yet, but if there's Kiba I shall sally forth as soon as I've sent off this message. *grin*

Heh. I've written a total of 2253 words towards NaNo, so really, I think you're fine. ^_^;

The episode is damn fun. Especially Gai and Kakashi at the beginning. oh GOD. And some of the art in the hospital is a bit weird, but otherwise it's very nice-looking. ^__^

Nooo you don't get it, I calculated! 1700 words a day or else I'll fall short of the goal. ;__; I muuuust get iiiit ;________; But I still can't think up a good, striking way of starting it. *disgruntled*

*sighs* The problem with Jiraiya's Sennin-mode is that it's supposed to make us think, 'ooh, ahh, Pain is so powerful to handle that without blinking!' But since we've never seen it before, our reaction is, "...um. Yeah. What was so special about this again?"

And word on the piercings. Please tell me there's a reason behind them, Kishimoto-sensei...!

It might be that the piercings are the way Pain connects with his bodies and summons (notice how all the summoned animals were randomly pierced as well), but all it comes off as is (a) they're trying too hard to be punk rock and appealing to the teen audience or (b) as a group they manage to pick up almost 2300 radio and television stations, including seven weather channels.

I completely agree - this needs to end, it's getting excruciatingly boring. I like jiraiya and all, but it's been to long since we've seen other stuff going on!
