So everyone who wants to be added and asked me on the previous post, I'll add you ... as soon as I figure out how to deal with filters. Because um, right now, I don't have a clue. .__. Anyone savvy in LJ-ness who feels like explaining to me? (should I add everyone I actually read to a specific filter, and then add everyone else normally, and then put that friends-filter as my default friendslist? Can I even do that? Or should I add everyone new to a porn-only filter and then -- no wait, then I'd have everyone's entries on my friends page, wouldn't I? Argh. Halp plz. Also should I bother locking up my rare friends-only posts. I don't even remember when was the last time I made one or whether I'd still care if it got out. *lazy* >.> )
Lurkers with a LJ, if there's any concern about expectactions, it's not because I add you to the filter that I'll be expecting comments from you. XD It's not a contract. I lurk in a bazilion places (yeah, yeah, how selfish, I should spend all my time in fandom giving as many reviews as I get >_>) and I understand that fandom, being a hobby, works on a "whatever you want to give is fine, even if you want to give nothing at all" basis, so I have no problem with you never commenting at all. If you don't want to talk to me at all, just copypaste an "add me plz" for your reply to the previous post, and that will be enough.
As for anon people, er. Hrrm. There's the update list? (though I don't remember to use it often, and I very rarely use it to warn for new pictures. ._.)

I need to write on Naruto's Inuzuka interlude, and then hmmmmm. Perhaps the Sand Country thing? It's not very necessary to the main plot, and I'm not sure I still feel that bunny very well, but... I dunno, I liked the idea... And perhaps I can stuff a few issues in it.
And then I need to fix some minor timeline ponderings before I can write more. Deciding what filler scene comes before, or after, or perhaps between the first and second stages of the exam.
... I really shouldn't get too attached to the OCs I create, I might end up having to kill them off for the plot. But in the other hand, if I don't get attached even a little bit, they'll probably read as cardboard cutouts there for cannon fodder and then their potential maiming or death will have no real effect... That or I'll chicken out and find a way to save them... Hmm hmm hmm. *prods bunnies with stick*
Oh yeah, Teamwork!Konoha now official has a Danzou. (Sai's old superior.) Added/fluffed that tiny bit in Kakashi's epilogue:
Jiraiya and he had planned to stress to Tsunade that Team Seven had needed to try their own way to save Sakura. If things had progressed any longer as they were, with training that didn't go anywhere and a lack of anything to strive forward, Naruto and Sasuke would have eventually lost patience, grabbed Sakura, and skipped town. Sasuke had already proved that if push came to shove, he would look for his solutions elsewhere, and Naruto... Naruto still wanted to become Hokage, but Hokage was abstract, far away, and his lovers and potential child weren't.
With Koharu around, though... The old woman already thought that Tsunade was way too personally attached to what amounted to a living, ticking time-bomb; she didn't need more ammunition to use against Naruto. Kakashi was also pretty sure that amongst the ANBU were a few of Danzou's men, and Danzou didn't bother hiding that he thought Sasuke should have been destroyed the second they brought him back; at most, he would compromise far enough to accept that Sasuke would only be executed after making sure they had enough sperm samples to preserve the Sharingan genes.

Tu crées un sous-groupe avec les gens dont tu lis les LJ. Tu crées un autre sous-groupe avec les gens "p0rn". Quand tu postes, au lieu de faire un filtre "amis", tu fais un filtre "personnalisé > le sous-groupe que tu veux".
Quand tu lis ta Flist... ben, moi j'ai actionné l'option de la barre tout en haut de LJ qui me permet de sélectionner le sous-groupe que je désire afficher ; par défaut, c'est toute ma Flist mais je peux choisir uniquement les journaux, uniquement les communautés ou n'importe lequel de mes sous-groupes... Mais tu peux toujours placer un favoris sur le lien. Et dans ton layout, tu peux aussi faire un lien (au dessus de ta tag list par exemple...)

That actually is what I would suggest doing? Though it sounds like you have it under control... is there something exactly that has you confused? I don't want to go through the whole 'this is how it works as I know it speech' if there is just a specific question I can answer for you?

The first thing that I do is create my custom friend pages. You will in this example need two of them – the first one for the porn, the second for the people you want on your friends list. Right now (just to be clear) were not dealing with filters, but custom friend groups.
The way that I edit my custom friends group (with the Horizon scheme in viewing options) is pretty simple. I click:
Friends > Manage Custom Groups (at this point it is pretty much self explanatory).
Once I have created my two groups by filtering in and out the people who want to be on your porn list and then the second list of people you want on your friends list I save the lists and go back to the profile.
Now – you have your people sorted into whatever categories you want them to be in, in your custom groups. Now it is on to the filters.
Friends > Filter Friends Page
Now it shows you a list of your customized friends groups, some of them are suggested and already there, so if you see some you didn’t make don’t worry about it. Now click which group you want to be on your friend’s page and then click ‘view’.
This will filter out anyone that you don’t want to view and should hold without anything else. You might need to occasionally re check it? I don’t mess with it to often but when I do it has worked with me (like when a community holds a big challenge and I don’t want to mess with it – etc).

How do you shift views from one filter to the next? do you have to use the gray navigation strip? Blech, it's ugly but I guess I can survive it if there's no other way... XD;

on the main lj site, you go to http://www.livejournal.com/friends/editgroups.bml
and then you see these columns and under the left one there's a button that says 'New' you go and click and give it some name like ninjaporn. and then you see a whole bunch of names (all your flist) pop up in the "not in friends group"... and then you click on them and move them with the ">>" button into the right column. and those names that end up in the right column when you click 'save changes' are automatically IN the group. the others not.

The problem here is... Wouldn't it make those people pop up on my default friendslist as well? I'm trying to find a way to make it so I would still only see the people I friended because i like to read them, not everyone I added because they want my pr0n. That's over 600 people now, i'd die. BUT... I think there's a way to configure (configure as in play around with the html and the overrides) your friends list link so it shows you only a certain friends filter.

...What I was going to say wasn't really that important. Do you plan on updating your stories to GreatestJournal as well? Under filter? You've added me back on there as a friend, so seeing your entries should be no real problem there.
