... Finally accepting that I'm gonna have to rewrite/tweak Crossed Wires from the start if I want it to get anywhere.

I dun wannaaaaaaaa I'm too lazyyyyyy... But that story really is doing a lot of shiny and not a lot of plotty. It's got nine chapters and plot happens in maybe three or four of them! D: And I didn't foreshadow things I should have, and some reactions don't make sense with the new character backstories and stuff like that.

... But I'm lazyyyy...

XD It's okay.

He's probably gonna get fed up with Sasuke's "eh, maybe tomorrow" about the boy bits and install them at the same time as the new arm or something.

Naruto: Yay, calibrating time!!
Sasuke: ... DIE.

... XD;;; the problem for me is that his main OOC-ness happens when he's not pretending, IE when he more or less forces himself on Sasuke in the first fic. Of course Sasuke is the kind who says no when he means yes, and he eventually got off on being able to enjoy it while giving Naruto the responsibility, but Naruto had no way to really know that because Sasuke didn't show it at all, at first, and yet Naruto never hesitated much. It bothered me. ;__;

The second fic was pure naughtiness so it doesn't really matter as much. XD I like the third fic well enough, though.


Naruto and Sasuke have never really interacted in a healthy way in canon, either. They seem to communicate best with their fists. Like they could actually, you know, SPEAK! *gasp* In teamwork they'll eventually calm down and get a little better about the misunderstandings and lack of communication, but lots of their communication will still happen non-verbally. They just don't talk about their feelings much. (naruto is less I HAVE NO FEELINGS AND THEREFORE DONT INSULT ME BY THINKING I MIGHT about it, but since Sasuke is so reserved, it's hard to talk to him about them. He gets defensive and embarrassed and he clams up. You've got to ambush him or something. XD So Naruto talks about his feelings with Sakura but not with Sasuke, because he knows Sasuke will be uncomfortable and therefore bitchy.)
