Oh heck, why not. Swiped from a half-dozen people on my f-list.
Name a character/pairing and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudo-canon.
Also if you're wondering how much I've written on this or that in-progress fic, just ask and I'll tell you how much progress I made probably not a lot and why. "because I'm lazy" is going to be a common answer. XD I'll even give you the last sentence I wrote on iteven if it's sucky and I'm planning to delete it next time. XD

I do not especially want to write that lemon. That last threesomely one-shot stole all my naughty-threesome inspiration. ;.; But I said there would be one! But. But. Nnnnrrrgh. ~__~
(oh yeah, I poked at a sidefic, but that's the one with the OC chuunins who spy on Naruto and I'm pretty sure that's not interesting to most of the Teamwork readers. XD)

-They really did get together because it was more convenient (only two guys attracted to males in their age group as far as they know, able to compartimentalize and be discreet), not because they liked each other -- Sasuke finds Neji a bit too prone to sanctimonious dickery and Neji still can't forget the fact that Sasuke is a traitor to Konoha and Naruto.
-Neji knows that he probably will have a marriage arranged for him by the Hyuugas and doesn't see it as anything worth fighting, since he sees marriage as less of an act of luuuurve than as a partnership to fulfill social obligations. In that regard, Sasuke is perfect since he'll probably want to revive his clan at some point, which means no long-term attachment.
-They're both somewhat fond of/crushing on/in love with Naruto, but also persuaded that he's straight as a ruler and it's not even worth thinking about it and his friendship is more important. But he comes first to both of them, and that's the only reason why they trust each other far enough to sleep with each other.
Of course that's the starting point. >.> I'd like to see a fic written with these premises that ends up in a real "okay I guess we do... like each other. sorta. Kinda. ... but I don't miss you
muchat all." XD ('cause I seriously doubt they could get to "I can't live without you ;__;" without being OOC as fuck. XD)(no subject)

-Naruto didn't used to think of himself as especially kinky. He just had healthy appetites. Likewise, Ino just had some ideas about what she wanted. Now they're pretty sure they're never going to have this kind of sex life with anyone else in their lives, so they're determined to make the most of it while it lasts. So far it's starting to look like a series of one-upping each other in the "pushing it" department.
-Ino knows that to Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura come first. She doesn't understand the Sasuke thing, since the second he betrayed Konoha and Sakura, she stopped seeing him as someone she honestly wanted to date and started seeing him as the giver of unholy heartbreaks (he's still pretty to look at from afar, just someone she's never going to want to get close to ever again). She does understand the Sakura thing, and she's glad for it. If Naruto stopped putting Sakura amongst his top four most important people, Ino doesn't think she could keep dating him. In a way what she loves best in him is his devotion to Sakura, because god knows Sakura needs someone who will give her that.
-Ino likes to make up and dress up sexynojutsu!Naruto. Naruto is a little uneasy about that sometimes (crossdressing isn't his personal kink and he's not that interested in pretending to be someone else for long periods of time), but he's way too fascinated by the results (Ino's interest, her change of attitude, all the fun they can have while, say, pretending to be cousins cruising the town) to refuse her.

It's not one of my pet pairings so I'm afraid I have no personal canon for them. I just don't think about their interaction all that much. ^^;; So you're going to get a ramble as I try to organize my thoughts. XDD
I think that they'd get along fine, as they're both polite and have no reason to hate on each other, but I'm not sure it would go farther than that.
Hinata's unconscious "my family is high-level nobility and I was raised like it" behavior would prompt Sakura to respond in kind, with lotsa proper-ness (but that very politeness and respect puts a distance between them.)
(I don't see Sakura as naturally deeply polite -- she's polite enough, but she tends to match the other person's attitude. Sasuke is aloof and unreachable; Sakura respects his pedestal and adores him from beneath it. Naruto is open and clingy and in-your-face; Sakura is openly violent and loud right back. Tsunade is, well, the Hokage, and her teacher; Sakura is all "*^^* yes, Tsunade-shishou!" Sakura seems to choose which part of her personality to express to fit what the other person gives off -- which is a fairly normal thing to do, but since most of the characters she interacts with -- sasuke, naruto, ino -- are depicted as having a "i don't care what you think of me, this is how I am" personality...)
Hinata's shyness and social awkwardness would probably prompt Sakura to defend her from things she perceives as bullying, but I'm not sure they'd ever get to be true, "tell-you-everything" friends. For me they don't click half as well as friends as Sakura and Ino, for example. Sakura is a little too polite to push and challenge Hinata like Ino challenged her. If she's defending Hinata, she wouldn't see her as an equal and I can't see Hinata easily breaking away from Sakura's benevolent protection like Sakura broke away from Ino's -- Hinata is a more peaceful girl than Sakura ever was, and she likes a consensus more than getting her own way. Sakura always had a competitive and violent streak, even if it was buried behind her initial shyness.
... in fact I see Ino/Hinata a lot easier than Sakura/Hinata, because Ino is easily friendly and not as concerned with propriety as Sakura is, so she wouldn't be afraid of laughing with Hinata and teasing her into breaking out of her shell. XD

'cuz you still haven't written that Hiashi and Hizashi scene you promised me. ;____;no subject
i'm so sorry, the inspiration flew away and it still isn't back T__TUMM what could I say that isn't spoilerish.
-He doesn't like what he's doing. But he likes what he *knows* would happen if he stopped a lot less. He might dislike the head family equivalent's attitude and the more distasteful aspects of politics, but there are a lot of people in the Hyuuga family and working for the Hyuuga corporation who wouldn't deserve dealing with the unholy mess that would ensue if he didn't keep directing them all. And for him, no matter what he feels for his daughters or about the clones, the needs of many > the needs of a few. That's why he keeps his distances; it's easier to see global numbers instead of letting a few individuals take on more importance than they should have.
-As far as the precog mindset goes, Hinata is a lot closer to developing his knack than Hanabi is, but Hiashi lets the inner circle believe that it's the other way around, because then they apply the wrong kind of pressure and it makes both of them a lot less likely to ever awaken it. He knows they both have the latent genes, though, and that tears at him. But then a good third of the family does carry some form of it...
-He isn't fully Hiashi anymore -- he's Hiashi/Hizashi, and while they were so mentally similar anyway that most differences post-switch were minimal, that means he doesn't think of Neji as his clone as much as he thinks of him as his son.

-When he was small, he had an imaginary friend whom he often blamed whenever he destroyed something (accidentally or not). That used to panic whoever was his keeper that month/week/day. He didn't even really think this friend actually existed, but he was painfully lonely, and pretending it did was better than admitting the truth, even to himself. Naruto stopped mentioning it at five and doesn't even remember it now.
and uh that's all I can think of. Everything else is either canon or pulled from The Way of the Apartment Manager. XD I just don't think about him at that age much.

-He misses the pre-end of civilisation era, because then he belonged and he didn't have to feel so painfully lost and out of his depth, but if he has a choice he wouldn't go back because he knows he evolved too much to still belong.
-Lena scares the shit out of him for a hundred reasons -- she's so easily breakable, Duo would hate him if anything happens -- but mostly because she can break him. He doesn't know how she would -- she's just a spoiled, too-clingy four year old who decided to love him -- but he knows she can, and that's terrifying.
-Sometimes he resents Odin a little, for making him different, but he knows that Odin didn't really make him different, just more different. Odin would have ignored him if he'd been just another clone. But Heero likes knowing why, and Odin never minded answering, and so he asked, and it's his own damn fault in the end.
He's going to resent Odin for getting killed and leaving him alone no matter what, though, even though he doesn't dwell on it since it's irrational to behave as if the guy decided to get killed just to hurt him.

"And if I touched you now?"
Sasuke bared his teeth as he backed off along the wall, edging toward the window. "I'd bite your fingers off."
"...Is that so?"
Suddenly Itachi's fingers were around his wrist again, reeling him in. With his other hand, he touched the light, pock-mark needles scars around Sasuke's neck.
ew, flat writing. :p

Uhhh.
I totally lost my momentum, and then there's the necessary cracktastic mood, and... Well. I might finish it one day, but at the moment I'm not really thinking about it much. ;_;
"Get your hands off my breasts before I punch you."
Naruto leaned against Sasuke's back and rubbed the firm breasts he was cupping. "Aw, come on, you know you like it."
Sasuke growled, and stepped out of Naruto's hold. "What are you doing in my house anyway? I don't recall inviting you."
"I come here everyday!" Naruto protested.
Sasuke gave him an evil glare. "My point exactly."
They stood face to face, glaring at each other. Sasuke was still female, and was really starting to get tired of it. Smaller, slimmer, and damn it! He wanted to top sometimes. Naruto was getting way too comfortable with nailing him to every flat surface they came across.
"What am I, a permanent booty call?"
Naruto gave him a wounded look. "We're best friends, jackass, am I not allowed to want to spend time around you outside of missions?"
Sasuke crossed his arms defensively and turned away, resolutely not pouting. "... I didn't say that. But your time around me seems to end up being time inside me damn often these days."
Naruto snorted and crossed his arms behind his head, eyerolling at his friend. "Geeze, sorry. You want me to get you a strap-on?"
Sasuke bared his teeth. "That might be a good idea."

TemaIno
-Temari thinks that if she could combine Shikamaru's intelligence and sense of snark and Ino's bitchiness, fun quirks and sheer passion, she'd get the one person who she could love more than anything else in the world. It's a good thing they aren't one person, because she loves Suna more and doesn't want it to change. (Shika is funnier to chat with, but Ino is much more entertaining in bed and that's why she chooses to keep Shika as a friend and sleep with Ino instead of the other way around.)
-Ino is jealous of Temari's badassery, and she used to try to make herself feel better by thinking about all the areas where Temari fails at being a kunoichi, but Temari manages to be feminine even when she doesn't spend ages in the bathroom or worrying about her diet like Ino does. In the end, Ino feels inferior and that makes her snippy -- but then Temari finds "snippy" hot and Ino is very confused to be valued and found sexy, not because she spends so much time on making herself pretty, but because she's letting her bitchy side out. She thought it was supposed to be a flaw (though a flaw she's proud of and determined not to let go of, despite the "ino, stop breaking people's balls or you'll end up alone forever" attitude of some people she knows.)
-Temari started it -- she hit on Ino first and asked her out first, even when Ino was wary and disgruntled -- but Ino was the one who decided they would start having sex now. Mostly because she was tired of getting confused and feeling out of her depth and out of control and not knowing if she was more jealous of Temari or troubled by her interest. She still doesn't know.
-Ino used to consider herself straight (except for Sakura, but Sakura is like uber-straight and Ino didn't think about actually dating her in real life) Now she still considers herself straight. Temari is a fluke. Its not really love. It's just... she doesn't know. She can't put a name onto what their relationship really is. It's confusing and irritating and it pushes her farther than she thought she could be pushed, and then there are the strange moments of compannionable calm where she attempts to tame Temari's hair or Temari allows her to make her up or they buy each other dresses, and they snark on other people in tandem, and she's totally lost.

-Was not supposed to like his kids, and didn't want to, but they snuck up on him and now he can't let them go. But he can't let them grow any closer either -- and it's not even because they'll die like everyone else always died and that might just be the last nail in his coffin. It's too late for that, for him. It's because then they'll grow closer to him, too, and he wants to minimize the pain they'll have to go through when he dies.
-Sometimes when he has downtime he'll summon a dog and then go about his day and putter around his apartment and do absolutely nothing ninja-y; he'll just have it around and feed it random table scraps whenever he thinks about it, and maybe they'll exchange a few comments on the neighbor's noisy cat or how the laundry might need to be done, and it will nap a few feet away while he reads books or reports or whatever else, and he'll feel a little less lonely.
-my brain won't work so you only get two. maybe a third later, i don't know. XD;;;
