-I'd decided a while ago I'd never get firefox. I don't like the way they present the list of favorite sites, IE works fine most of the time, and the tabs are WAYYY too complicated. I'd close the whole window by accident and lose everything, you can bet on it.

And then campfuckudie's HUGEASSS POSTS OF DOOM posts stopped loading. This is not acceptable. I need my fix. Rabi/Mika/Axel/Shigure/Seimei interaction. Roy/Mal/Robert. Gaara/Himawari. *flails* So it was with a heavy heart that I decided to give firefox a try. u.u

... it loads.

It loads all the way, and then it tells me, "oh hay btw there's that script-thing, it doesn't wanna play nice, you wanna stop it?" and I say "sure :DDD" and it stops the script, and THE PAGE WORKS FINE ANYWAY. I'm not even sure what that script was supposed to even do. Maybe it's a subtle trap set up by disgruntled, overworked LJ servers. D:

(Compare, if you will, to Internet Explorer: "Oh hay btw I loaded almost the whole page! Eventually. Somewhat. But now I'm going to freeze without letting you see and I'll never tell you why."
"... Well, damn. I guess I'll close the window and try again, then?"

So.

I still don't like the way the favorites are set up, but maybe there's a way to rig it I haven't found yet, and the quick links bar thing is pure awewome either way.

Well, with IE you click on the yellow start thing and it opens a list on the left side of the screen, instead of having to go through the trouble of opening the drop-down menu every time. And I've set up my folders so that I don't have to move my mouse much, it lands on my most-used link anyway. XD; if there's a way to set up something like that, i'd love it. ;_;

OMG I've almost forgotton what a wonder Firefox is. I've been stuck on my sisterinlaws laptop for the last couple of weeks while my computer is tinkered with. I want firefox back. It rocks.
And yes Sakura rocks for this little semi-arc bit, and afterwards she returns to being the token girl in a shonen storyline. We should make a list, of girls who get to be awesome in shonen stories. Kekkaishi is a good example, you should check it out. Tokine doesn't let her younger male counterpart's strength mean that she gets left on the sideline. And yes it's on sale in France. It has a gay ghost dog aswell. Interested? Oh and did I mention the other young male that's come to join their group, and he has a tragic family past....hohoho. *feels evil*

Tsumura Tokiko from Busou Renkin is made of the ass-kickingest kind of win and awesome. andeeeeeeeescarsocute!

Grenadier is exploitative fanservicy fluff for the most part, but Rushuna is so like 'If Vash the Stampede were female and had common sense' that it'd be kinda scary if they lived in the same universe.

Kaname Chidori of Full Metal Panic is not and was never meant to be a combatant... and rocks supremely anyway.

I dunno how the manga goes, but in the anime version of Outlaw Star, Twilight Suzuka upstages the (male) lead at almost every turn, and Aisha ClanClan (the comic relief!) is well established as being able to turn him into a smear mark in a straight fight.

Firefox is the one browser that can read everything on BOTH my PC at home and my Mac at work (Well, except for some flash plug-ins at home, but I suspect that's my computer, not the browser). Even Safari can't hold the same standards and I've mostlybeen a Safari advocate up until now (except... can't read Wikipedia? WTFBBQ?)

That's not so impossible, actually, there was a character from a series who had a very defined split personality and they were both played by the same account. 'course, you can say that they were the same person, just not right in the head, and depending on some definitions Bakura and Ryou count as separate people, but Sakon and Ukon are also played by one account. (but then Ukon doesn't get out so much and they act a lot like each other, so, hrrrmmm...) I don't know the show too well, so i'm not sure how often dark!Bakura is out, but there's a possibility they'd let you app them. You should ask the mods. Seriously, they're uber-nice. ^__^

Welcome to the dark side. I'm a whore for the search bar on the right. If you choose 'customize', you can add a ridiculous variety of searchable websites to it. I have Wikipedia and IMDB and Mininova and dictionary.com and and and....

Also, tabs = win. My roommate (since she has a laptop) will have no fewer than ten of them open at once (with no crashing, yay) and just close her computer with Firefox still open. They alllllll stay. :D Rightclick > Open in New Tab is great when you get lost in the depths of Wikipedia too.

I love Shippuuden. I love Chiyo's issues around the past and the future and the shift from being enemies with Konoha to being friends, I love how Sakura is badass (even if it's not going to last) and I love the sibling love between the sandsibs. Seriously, tracking Gaara by the sand he shed? On top of sand? ONLY A BROTHER. I was so touched by his devotion, even if engaging Sasori and Deidara by himself was completely retarded. And Deidara's fight with Gaara was so cool. And when they leave Sand, instead of Sasori jumping on the bird and them flying away, Deidara hops off the bird and they walk away and he puts his hat on. And it was so WTF and I loved it. Even the WTF moments make me happy. And why is there no DeiGaa fic to be found anywhere. And, and. I'll stop spouting off now. XD

Hey, play nice! Not only is Gaara the Kazekage, he's his brother. No way is he gonna just let two unknown goons just waltz off with him. (Okay, bad move. About that annoying CFUD script--if you install Adblock, you can use it to filter it out so you never even have to see the "sup there's a script, wanna kill y/n?" pop up message ever again. (The script in question is the one that starts like, "http://www.livejournal.com/js/??core. js,dom.js,httpreg.js,livejournal, js/common/AdEngine.js" and goes on and on for infinity. I have no idea what the hell it is, but it's evil.) The pages load much faster after it's gone, too, which, if your computer is anywhere near as slow as mine, is a godsend.
