It's sand. When Hinata's team are spying on him killing dudes, he makes the Sand Coffin gesture as if to crush them, but then Temari and Kankuro talk him out of it, and then he has his cork in hand from the compacted sand in his fist and he plugs the gourd with it.

Ah, so cute. I liked how you managed to blend the texture of the sand in, at first glance I didn't even notice, but looking at it deeper it was easier to see the depth.
I know it's silly, but he likes like a giant (kinda deformed tail but) kitty. But so very very cute. His little footsie shoes, his dark lined eyes, his pose and ... I just want to pat Gaara.
