By the way, guess what I found lying around my house the other day...why yes, its all your hopes and dreams. Imagine that. Sorry, I always tend to assume Kishimoto is an evil, evil bastard. It usually explains most of the plot twists I read around here...

Gotta say, even for a guy whose not so much into the YAOI (nothing against it, especially when its well written like it is in Teamwork, just not what I seek out as my default smut), this was a great chapter. The story has broken out of this dolldrum pacing, and for once I'm excited and intrigued about where the plot is headed, cause its now totally unpredictable. I like mini-Kisame already, and I'm looking forward to meeting these other two characters. My favorite part of Konohamaru's stunt was those expressions immediately after Sakura does her squeel of joy. That look of sheer horror on her face followed by that "oh god, don't look at me like that, I'm not a pervert!" reaction was priceless.
