So I was reading this marysue fic... It was horribly, ridiculous over-the-top.

Product of scientific experiments, born and raised in a lab... Holder of the two tailed shark... Mother of Kisame -- which explained his chakra reserves and his appearance -- and yet still somehow waifish-16 year old of appearance... Wise beyond her years, and perpetually enshrouded in sadness... Powerful enough to destroy the planet...

She had to fight her own son omgnoes. FINAL SHOWDOWN.

Of course, also beeautiful, and with long, shiny, black, flowing, smooth hair down to her knees. And Neji, Sasuke and Itachi loved her. And kyuunaru wanted her to be his mate.



... and yet I kept thinking "well, shit, MarySues are horrible, but I really want to know the end."




... and then I woke up.

MY BRAIN. SHE BETRAYED ME.

I don't think I've ever dreamed quite like that before. I've continued already started plots, but this is quite unique.

Sometimes it happens, but usually I lose them when I wake up. Or it seemed to make sense while I was dreaming and yet it really doesn't. Yesterday I dreamed I had to wear a homemade christian schoolgirl uniform and I was running all around the house to find the pieces of it. While making myself pigtails. and swearing a lot because they weren't parallel and the same size. yyeeah. =___=;

I know I dreamed up several continuations of Garou while waiting around for details of your plans for it...most somewhere along the lines of drawing out the angst and 'omgosh I can't infect you'-tensioness. ^_^

I once dreamed Sasuke and Naruto were in love with me, instead of Sakura (as per my OT3). There was a lot of drama, including breaking up because I didn't feel loved (or some such rot), getting with Kakashi (Oooh, le smex!), and playing badminton with Shikamaru. Then I experience near-death so we all cry and get back together, after which it is revealed that I'm pregnant, with twins; had Naruto-hair, Sasuke-skin, and my eyes, while the other had my hair, Naruto-eyes, and Sasuke's smirk...I woke up and promised I would never reveal such a dream to _anyone_. I break this vow for you. Smile, Askerian. It could be worse. [Truly, I understand brain-betrayal.] *dies of el shame*

She's lying, actually. I mean, I tried that (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2650795/1/), and one review for every two thousand words is hardly what I'd call a worthy response to that sort of sacrifice. Badfic gods are, as it were, good at recruiting, but they don't seem to be much on customer service.

OTOH, watching a talented writer take on those sorts of memes can often be a worthwhile guilty pleasure, so maybe I shouldn't be trying to discourage you...
