Is Sasuke in Sound. With a pet weasel. And it could be crack, but it isn't entirely -- it's quiet and understated and so many details that make me go "YES" and also it uses the latest chapter *__* (amongst other things? IT EXPLAINS HIS CLOTHES. AWESOME. XD)

EDIT: ARGH TEAMWORK YOU BITCH STOP WHISPERING AND SPEAK OUT AND TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. I can't do anything with "oh hey, you know you want to write me" when I don't know WHAT THE HELL HAPPENS IN THE NEXT SCENE.



I already know what happens in the main scenes of the chapter, but I can't write them yet; the settings are changing on me as I write new connecting scenes, and in the end I would probably have to rewrite the big scenes a lot to make them fit and I hate that.

... okay, people. Latest scene was coming back home after that mission and Sakura telling them that she can't move in with them yet and Kakashi butting in about the Uchiha compound. WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENS NEXT. And I don't want another scene where it's nothing but fall-out, and I want to avoid more NaruSasu fighting flirting interaction because, dude, they're getting enough bonding time already.

I kind of want a Neji cameo, (dude, the last time he saw naruto was when they went to retrieve him in the forest and he went all Kyuubi on him) but I still need to know what's going on beyond that, what mood Naruto is in when he meets him and all. *flops*

Hm, well I kind of want a Sasuke/Kakashi mentoring moment, after seeing the way the 307 manga scan went. I know Sasuke's a bitch about asking for help, but Kakashi does know a lot about seals, right? Maybe he'd have something to offer on the problem.

As for Naruto interaction with team Gai, well Sakura does need some way to increase the effectiveness of her excersizes. Bet Lee has some tips, and Naruto can talk with Neji while they discuss things.

But it's hard to come up with stuff, 'cause I don't know how you're laying out scenes. ^^; This might be something completely different from where you're headed with the story.

It's naruto POV, even if there is a Sasuke/Kakashi moment, he probably won't be there. Unless it's during training, but hrrm. (they can't really ask Kakashi, sadly -- waitwait oh god you gave me a bunny. THANK YOU.)

It's not with Team Gai; just Neji for now. They're not nearly as close-knit as Team 7 and I don't see them going everywhere together, so for a chance encounter it's not likely that Naruto would meet them.

What comes next? Um... they encounter Kiba - he has a pretty good idea of what's going on with Team Seven, given that he smelled it. And/or Hinata - she's got to be worried sick.

Um... someone tries to snub Naruto, and hormonally unbalanced Sakura goes ballistic? ("I'm pregnant, I'm getting married, and you think you can get away with insulting one of MY boys? DIE, SCUM!") And Sasuke indirectly backs her, or something? Give Naruto one of those rare, "Wow... they're standing up for me..." moments, he's earned one by this point.

Aftermath of the fire? The old police guy shows up for a quick follow-up on what's going on, and also to feel out these two unknowns who are associating with Sasuke? Someone not-police wants to question Sasuke on the matter? Something happens that starts laying the groundwork for Sasuke to start taking an interest in the police?

Sakura takes Naruto to go look at apartments/apartment layouts? (Sorry, I'm projecting a bit, since I'll be getting an apartment in Japan soon. *happyhappy*)

Naruto sees his old swing where he sat alone and neglected, goes over to think, and the other two somehow just end up settling down in the area for a break? (Could end up with a scene similar to your tree-house picture, which would be fun.)

I know you said you had some ideas, but extra brainstorming never hurts, right? *lightning flashes, thunder rolls* ...Ow. I take that back... @_@

Kiba's (if i'm lucky) getting his own sidefic soonish. and i've got no time for random passersby suckage at the moment -- Sasuke is buried in scrolls, Naruto doesn't listen and Sakura is busy as hell training and all.

You know, I could do something with the police guys. *_* but it would have to be a sidefic, more than probably. *eyes the chapter* -- already 20 pages long and I haven't even started on the three main scenes. besides, it would have to be Sasuke-pov. Sidefic it is!

Hrrm, need to advance the plot a little before I go back to fluff scenes, but maybe. (hee, i saw that. congrats! ^^)

Hee, that would be cute. (i already have a noit-teamwork ficlet thing about the treehouse pic. XD one day, i'll finish it!! when i decide what it's about, apart from team seven in a treehouse.)

brainstorming is always awesome. even if i end up not using the exact idea, they spark off such interesting things. ♥

I think perhaps Naruto watching Sakura do her exersizes, and learning how well or how badly she's doing by Kakashi offering her advice, possibly while self reflecting why they aren't in the uchiha district (Sasuke might get it into his stupid duck butt head to burn down that building too, for instance). Kakashi uses his sharingan to observe Sakura's exersizes, Sakura asks why, Kakashi explains and gives even more defined pointers. And Naruto gets the genius idea to go bug the hell out of Neji to use his byakugan to help her train.
