So in previous drabble memes things, I promised I would write...




- chibirisuchan (Kyuubi and ramen and possibly iruka) = I have three pages of it, and then I got stuck and forgot where I was going. Will be going back to it when I find my inspiration again. ;_;

- kira_kirke (1x5) = I have a plot! and about two pages of it. It needs some tweaking, and damn you Heero for being so asexual, but I like the beginning, whee.

-majochan: Team Seven blanket fic. = THREE PAGES LONG AND JUST REACHING THE SEX DAMN YOU.




- destroythesun/ aquariankiss (Sasuke, naruto, a bunny hat. x_x) = asked a few times to please change your prompt because this one draws a big blank. Got no response, so unless I get a new response now, I'll cross this one off the list.

-theninjakitty: ... team eight, pervy use of jutsu... = still pondering it. ;_; *sucks* I'm sorry, but I don't think I can write InoShikaChoShinoKibaHina OMGSTFU PHOENIX. XDXPPPPP

-melhime: NaruSasuSakuKyu, inner saku. = I suck like a mad sucking thing. I think my Inner-Saku/Kyuubi inspiration all went to teamwork. ;__;




+ joosetta (kakashi and itachi in the anbu) = I intend to make this into a good brainbreaky one-shot, not a quick careless thing (hahaha, like my "drabbles" are ever less than one or two pages long) so I'm taking my time. Still on my to-do list.

+ maaya1x2 (HP/Naruto crack crossover ficlet with dragons) = um. I wrote other HP stuff? Does that count? ;_;


So um yeah. I have a bad success rate for these memes. =__=;;; My apologies. I haven't forgotten, promise.

This kinda reminds me of a challenge I set up on AFF. Foot smex, cocoa, Black sock 4-play, a couch and a roaring fire, must haves in the fic. ;_; no one's answered yet... :( I'd right it... bah... can't write fics worth crap.

The way I understand it is that that particular Gundam Wing notation developed because OZ assigned each of the five gundams a code number in the early stages of the ongoing clusterfuck that is the world situation in that series. IIRC, the order was Hiro, Duo, Trowa, Quatre, Wu Fei, but don't quote me on that - that's not even really my fandom.

Yup, exactly right. More useless trivia - each of their names is a variation on their assigned number in some language or another.

Heh. valles_uf answered it just under your reply. Basically in Gundam Wing, most male characters (and two females) have names based on numbers.

Heero = comes from the L1 colony, also his name might be a deformation of Ichiro = first son (or some other japanese name that means one)

Duo: comes from LJ, also name means two of a thing

Trowa: from L3, bad romanization of the french word for three (trois)

Quatre: from L4 (Quatre = four in french)

Wufei: from L5 (his two kanji are five and flight/to fly, if I remember right)

That's the five main protagonists. As for the antagonists:

Zechs : bad romanization of six in german (his other name, milliardo = billion)

Otto : eightth son or something in some european language

Noin : bad german for nine

Dekim: from latin root meaning ten

Une gets the number 11 in fandom, but her name really is the feminine version of One in french

Treize: thirteen in french

Trent: bad romanization of trente = 30 in french.

There are more minor characters with other number names, but the main ones are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, and 13. (Heero, Duo, trowa, Quatre, Wufei, Zechs, Noin, Une and Treize, who are the main numbered characters) And even then, the yaoi side uses the numbers more than the het side of the fandom, so the numbers for Noin and Une are rarely used as much as their initials.

The girls who are not in the military don't have numbered names, so their initials are used instead.

She must have groaned, shifted against him, done something that said that she liked it, because he did it again and rolled his hips in the same motion. She tensed for a moment, then jumped as he pushed halfway into her. Another nip, another stroke of his hips and he groaned against her shoulder, expression lost somewhere between delight and discomfort. She wiggled a bit in his lap, unfamiliarly full and wet and gasped as he pushed against her in just the right way to send a dizzy little shock looping down her spine.

Then she heard Temari shift behind her, breathing heavy at the nape of her neck.

She prickled at the feeling, having almost managed to forget that she was there, to think of this as just Shikamaru and her…

Then ten perfect fingers slid through her hair, pulled it aside, a warm body pressed itself against her back and smooth tender lips laid themselves against her neck in that perfect little spot and sucked.

She was aware that time, of the moan that ripped from her throat as faintly sharp teeth scraped over her flesh, nuzzling down her shoulder, plucking at her ear, fingers tugging and clutching all the while in the tangle of her hair. Shikamaru's hands gripped her hips, he thrust up against her and her hands fisted on his chest, toes curling against the sheets.

Sakura giggles, even as she hits Naruto's arm. Sasuke almost groans at the lameness; he doesn't bother turning around.

"Shut up and sleep, both of you."

"You come and sleep too, Sasuke. You're gonna be a frozen Uchihacicle tomorrow."

"No." he doesn't turn around, once again. He sits at the arrow slit, watching out, hands cupped in front of his lips to hide the white clouds of his breath.

"Oh yeah, the snow's gonna rise up and swallow us -- wait, it's done that already."

"Shut up and sleep."

"You come and sleep too," Naruto repeats; it's his stubborn voice. "You come and sleep with us."

Sasuke doesn't want to. He doesn't want to see them, snuggled together under the old, ratty blanket. He doesn't want to see Sakura -- his Sakura, the one supposed to love him -- watching Naruto with such badly hidden smiles. He doesn't want to see Naruto grinning -- not even because he was better than him, just because he has her and Sasuke doesn't and this means there's one area they don't need to compete anymore, one area where Sasuke isn't the goal he has to reach anymore. Sasuke's jealous, and he knows it. So what.

"I'm keeping watch so you can sleep, so just sleep already!" he snaps in an angry whisper. There isn't anyone around for miles, and the snow is going to be too unstable to attempt walking on it for hours, he knows that. Still -- he wants to sleep back to back with them as much as he wants a hole in the head. They're so ... cute. Stealing glances and touches when they figures he doesn't see, whispering to each other. He can't stand the thought of being this close as they cuddle, as they touch each other.

He wonders if they've had sex already.

"Oh well," Naruto replies. "Whatever."

It stings. It stings so goddamn much and he's so busy curling up on himself inwardly, he doesn't feel the blond closing in, until there's a hand in the back of his shirt. And then he flies back and lands on the mattress. He would jump back up, outraged, but then Sakura's looking at him pleadingly, a hand on his chest.

Her hand is shaking, just a bit. "Sasuke-kun, please."

He hesitates long enough to allow Naruto to come back to the bed.



...hohoho.

The prose needs smoothing out, and i'm still not at the goddamn sex!!! but it's coming, it's coming. I just don't know how soon. XD
