For years, I thought that nothing could be worse than my room sharing a wall with my parents'. There were noises I didn't need to know my parents made; while I could stand the blessedly anonymous bedsprings and frame creaks, the grunting and groaning was far, far beyond what my young mind wanted to be exposed to.

Then I discovered that my other wall faces my brother's room, and that it was no thicker than the first, and I discovered that some things are, in fact, worse. u.u
