"Are you done?" Itachi whispers, stepping out of the shadows.
Neji is standing in the middle of the courtyard; the moonlight makes the white of his skin glow in the dark, makes the blood on his hands and his clothes and the drops on his face even blacker than his hair. He has a kunai in hand; it doesn't even shine, it gleams wetly instead, just barely.
Itachi is waiting at the gate; he doesn't move. Neji's eyes are as white as the moon, as empty as his own.
"Yes," Neji says, "I'm done;" and walks out of the silent Hyuuga compound without looking back.
Also watched the last five Naruto eps, which I downloaded but didn't watch because OMFGTEHSUCKS. It's like reading fanfic of the not that excellent quality -- at least there's a plot; too bad most of the time it's lamer than a three-legged dog and they don't bother checking if half the things they do actually fits with canon. -__-;;
You know what... Sailormoon!Hinata bothered me a lot, as did the way they pushed the NaruHina so bloody much, as did the way Shino was so blatantly used as a plot device to facilitate the pairing (Shino: Hinata's cool and she wants you and if you don't notice her i'mma gonna break your kneecaps, yo), and some of the animation and art made me twitch a lot -- the necks are too thick sometimes, amongst other things, and sometimes they really shouldn't make the faces move so fucking much when they talk, it looks like they're making faces at each other, it's not dramatic at all -- Naruto's characterisation SUCKS, the plot holes and lack of consistency with the universe are big enough to steer Kyuubi and Shuukaku through and I am never ever going to consider these episodes canon or use them in anything but parody fics, but in the end... Hinata was still so, so, so, so CUTE, and I did end up cheering her on. She didn't need to be saved!
The hands shooting lasers, though ... bit ridiculous, the way she didn't move except her arms (except when it was going in slow motion -- there, it was pretty) She looked like Shiva. Hinata = Shiva = LOLZ!Asuka.
The new mini-arc with Team Gai? ... whoa, they're not bothering to think up valid reasons to bring him with anymore, eh? But I like that the villain is honestly creepy, and YAY actual dead people!! For a ninja series, they don't see lots of death, do they.
-The animation when Lee was doing a taijutsu routine= mmmmmm.
-The NaruSaku cuteness, and the bird metaphor = SQUEE. (lookit, it's an injured bird, all alone in the world... and then she lets it go and he flies off and has an aerial birdy threesome with his friends who SO waited for him, yo, and then the three of them fly off together. It's even blue like Sasuke's shirt XD)
-NEJINARU HUG WHEE XD
-Tsunade nailing that guy in the head with her chair = XD XD XD
-i seriously hope the ramen stand guy is not a spy, because they spill so much confidential info.
The thing so far isn't so bad, though not the best (beats the Mizuki WTFing by miles), haven't seen enough plot to judge yet though. i'm waiting to see more.

Get bittorrent, it's easier -- all direct download sites require a paying membership. (and bittorrent is explained on the sites i'm linking to, and just google it cause i can't explain, but it's very useful -- and yes, still free)

- that's what I call all my psycho-fic impulses actually, 'Darkside', hence my Darkside Tales fic in the GW world. The title of your drawing made me smirk for that reason.
Ooooh boy. That is soooo...I ran outta words. Little detail that particularly ganked me and took my brain out to lunch: the way Itachi's fingers are curled around Neji's sleeve. 'Mine. In blood and darkness now, all Mine.' Neji looks shellshocked, but after killing his entire clan (for whom I feel considerably less sympathy than the Uchiha clan, the kiddies aside) that is understandable.
I'm with you on the current anime arcs. I thought of Shiva too for the Hina-special. Still it was nice to see she was able to pull off her own rescue thankyouverymuch. They didn't do Iruka that courtesy *stands on soapbox and shakes fist at animators*
And Lee doing that kata with the steel sandals...*melts* I'm not minding this arc too much (I won't go further than that). Mainly I'm reading the manga.

well, in CFUD they're together, but they both know that the second they go back home they'll be enemies again. And there's no way Itachi will ever be forgiven, not that he wants to -- he likes neji but not that crazy WAHH ANYTHING FOR YOU MY SWEET LOVE way, thank god. So the only other way would be Neji leaving Konoha, which... isn't happening either, even with his issues with his own clan. LE SAD.

On a side note, we were hoping that having Rock-nin as the enemies meant they were attempting to seague into Kakashi Gaiden. Yeah... way to cut down our hopes. >.<
Excuses? What excuses does Tsunade need? Naruto's being annoying and she wants to get him of her hair. At least on a mission, he might be useful. XD Oh, and my friend and I have a theory that the chair is actually Jiraiya henge'd and he's been hiding under Tsunade's ass all these weeks. *LOL*
As for the newest arc... meh, characterizations better, if still a little weak, but, come on! Lots of great Lee scenes! *dies* XD
