This rant brought to you following a couple of reviews that really pissed me off.

I know that some of you people mean well, and believe me I don't mind at all when people tell me "I want Duo and Heero to be together!". When I mind is when people are demanding it and getting angry with me about it.

I know that the 1x2 is slow in coming. I know that Heero is joyously gallivanting with anything that shakes its tail at him. YOU WERE WARNED. My story is already planned, I know exactly how and when Duo and Heero will get together, it is in fact already written, and complaining isn't going to make it come any faster. If you don't like my story, then hit the back button. Thank you.

To all of you who request the get-together scene/lemon in jest, I honestly don't mind. I love 1x2 too, so I understand. But the story just wouldn't work if I let them shag just yet. I'm honestly sorry to torture you.

To those of you who DEMAND, every time I receive a whining mail about how I'm cruel for making them read a story that isn't what it's advertised as and that I'm in fact, not a true 1x2 fan, I'm awfully tempted to make it last even longer.

By the way, being a 1x2 fan doesn't mean hating everything but this pairing. Contrary to what some people like to think, they are not the One True Pairing of the fandom. They work particularly well together, but if written in the right way, a lot of other pairings do. I don't ask you to like those pairings, but please stop glaring down at those of us who do.

yeah, me too. I think that the best part of any fic is the chase *__* Once they get in bed, it begins to bore me. Sure they get physical pleasure, but if that doesn't change their emotional relationship as well I don't see the point.

In fact, it wasn't supposed to last that long, but two lines of plot idea regularly turn into a whole french chapter. Those are around 30 pages long. And bam!! three english chapters and a whole new subplot. ^^;;;; And since the stuff with Duo and Heero getting together happens toward the end of the fic...

LOL, me too! I like lemons as a culmination to a get-together fic, they make a good ending. Otherwise, the sex often takes over the plot and becomes the main focus of the fic. Or worse, the lemons become routine and interchangable.

And since the stuff with Duo and Heero getting together happens toward the end of the fic...

Oh good! I like long fics that tell a complete story. I do not like fics that hurl the reader past the rest of plot just to get to the lemon.

*sticks hand in air* I agree too! I'm a sucker for a nice, long drawn out get-together. Love *cough*lust*cough* at first sight is all well and good, but it's the nice angsty build-up that makes the get-together part all that much sweeter.

I'm not really an angst whore, don't even like it when it's too bad, but garou is bloody good ficstuff.

Actually the anticipation is killing me and I love it. Why do you think I love FAKE so much? Same thing. The long, drawn out tease, the almost getting there, the two steps back, the long suffering... well, you know. Makes when the time finally does come that much more wonderful. Make them work for it. (evil laugh)

*snuggle* I love 1x2x1 and I very much respect an author's right to write whatever the hell she wants. I don't understand angry emails/stalking because the author didn't write what the reader wants. I mean, come on, we do this for fun and entertainment, right?

I'm looking forward to Nookie Day in Garou, but I would much rather have a story that is well written and a sensible plot than to have rushed nookie.

Well, I can sorta understand it in the case of Garou, because I keep telling them that it will end in a 1x2, but so far they're still waiting. But it's their fault too, to think that I mean "in the next chapter or so". I have at least a dozen chapters before the end, maybe more if The Plot(tm) morphs again.

But in most cases, those emails are from people who believe that the author is there to write them the story that THEY want. Which is bullshit. The author writes the story they have inside. Maybe it can be influenced if the writer doesn't have a clear idea of where they want to go, but if they don't want it, they don't write it. I didn't ask anyone to expect me to write them their dreamfic. *sulks* They can write it themselves if they're bored of my version. *sulksulk*

Boy am I going to have to write the very best lemon I ever wrote when Nookie Day comes. After all that buildup, I'd better. ^^;

Oh, and I hate you. Wufei and Heero were NOT co-operating with the whole being drawn thing. *stabs Wufei and Heero* Hilde and Relena on the other hand were almost mindlessly easy...I was surprised! *hugglegropes Hilde and Relena*

Annnnnd...I've had waaaay too much coffee today (which is bad because I don't drink coffee) so I'm all jittery and I'm going away now.
