I am finding Khepurr (oops, I mean Kheper)'s quirk to be very interesting. At first I thought he was doing the sober!Gamzee thing, and was kind of weirded out, but now I'm just imaging him being loud at first like he's cutting someone off from saying something improper. xD

It’s not really Dolorosa’s quirk, it’s that old obsolete habit of Uppercasing the first letter of a word of Importance instead of, idk, italicizing it, I don’t know when that was in use (but I know a person who still uses it for real and it’s Incredibly Pretentious, whoa. XD) Also the first few words being in uppercase are to remind of the way old books with gravures would have a first letter in a chapter all full of calligraphy and then some uppercase words before the rest in normal text. Signless is OLD okay I bet his old grubtops had screens made of vellum. D:

(I tried out smallcaps except for the uppercases but that looked just wrong in bright red courier, all squished together and hard to read. Sad, it would have been fun to riff on Karkat’s quirk.)

The number of words he uppercases to start a sentence is pretty random actually, it depends mostly on what sounds good.

I love Disciple. She's like a big Nepeta only UTTERLY SHAMELESS.

Haha, yeah, he could def. be doing that. Actually he's doing the old book thing, where a chapter would start with a big illustrated calligraphied letter and then uppercases for a line or so and then the normal words. Plus Uppercases for words that are Especially Relevant and ought to be brought to people's Attention somehow.

I am so glad to see that you have good headcanons for the Ancestors! I was a bit worried there, what with actual canon not giving us much. ^_^; But everyone is awesome and now I just want All Ancestors, All the Time (sorry kids!). XD


Oh, and I noticed on Ao3 that someone mentioned "a few errors"--- and then didn't elaborate? >_> If it makes you feel better, other than the CC/CG thing (which was hilarious), the only other things I saw were a missing * ("hey there pretty lady [*]he says*") and forgetting to post the entire "[arsenicCatnip]" thing here: "AC: :33 < *the sage gr33n lioness pads clowdser." But those are really nitpicky things that I had to scour carefully to find. o_o

(actually, speaking of that line, is "clowdser" supposed to be a cat pun? Because it might make more sense as "clawser"? I have no idea what a "clowd" is. XP)
