And they don't even use it, it's an empty account!

Here I was, finally giving in. (mostly so i can follow blogs, that reblogging thing gets a bit on my nerves in principle and i still don't friggin' get how to hold a CONVERSATION in that place but aaaaa so many shiny things to keep track of T__T) and i can't give in because my name is taken. aaaaaaa.

Oh well whatever. It's probably providence. XD

I am going to post absolutely NOTHING there I am not posting on LJ too, and possibly a great deal less since I think i'm mostly gonna use it for Homestuck fanworks. Also I hate reblogs so... yeah.

Possibly you can message them and ask if you can have it if they're not using it? That's how I got killua as my username! Some people are quite nice and it doesn't hurt to ask!




THOUGH I WOULD ADVISE YOU STAY AWAY FROM TUMLBLR. The amount of time that just vanishes when you go there is terrifying.

I've been on for a few weeks and I still don't really know if I'm doing it right.

I've been holding conversations by reblogging and adding my two cents. It sorta works, but if the person you're talking to isn't the original source they don't get a notification.

Some people also let you reply directly to their posts, but if they want to say something back then they have to reblog.

It's weird.

Yeah, I have no idea how to talk to people on Tumbler. I keep getting frustrated and leaving after seeing someone ask something and wanting to reply or if they say something wrong and I want to correct them...Mostly I go to look at pictures etc.

OT - I always get delayed in commenting because of "spank me". XD I have to take a few seconds to giggle like a child every time.

Anyway! People change their usernames on tumblr all the time, so I can't imagine it would be a big problem. You can always just add an extra letter (like, "askeriian"). I mostly just use the "Ask box" feature for conversations. It's a bit inconvenient, but tumblr isn't really for conversations. XD; You'll get used to it very fast. Tumblr is all about efficiency and speed. I follow 300+ people and it still never seems like enough!

Yeah tumblr has a bit of a learning curve! It's not really friendly to having conversations. You can install Missing E which helps a lot but the people who run tumblr actually really hate Missing E because they're dumb. Not that I'm biased or anything. Anyway I'd be happy to help if you got a tumblr, I was really confused with mine at first but now I think I can make it function pretty well.
