Abandoned? That's cool. The fact there even was one is a plus. I was mostly interested in how it would work. You're pretty thorough when you do your worldbuilding. *hearts*

I was thinking the pairing would never work, but the way you've explained it makes sense. The dynamics sound awesome- and the way you described it made me think of Team 7 and their bonds.

As far as the size of the village Katara was from, that also raises some questions about the age of her possible suitors. Her options looked like it was either going to be ten years younger than her or fifteen years older(one of her father's warriors, probably). When she was at the North Pole and people saw her necklace, no one thought it was odd for her age, and they have plenty of people.

And I admit to being relieved Pakku wasn't all my engagement necklace=my bride. Maybe that was just me imagining the vibe, but Northern Water Tribe seemed repressed enough they'd be okay with it. Until Katara fed him to Koizilla, at least.
