I don't think you fail at kids. They`re absolutely adorable, and I love how your style allows for people actually looking like different people, as opposed to a bunch of clones with different colouring choices.
Um... if you think they don`t appear to be the same age, I think it has something to do with the lengths of the necks? The younger a kid is, the less neck they have. To me Gabe looks the youngest, and I think it's because the angle makes his neck seem shorter.
...I agree. The lengths of the necks, and also perhaps the roundness of the face? Young children inevitably have baby fat around their cheekbones, even if they have very defined cheekbones like Ludmila... Not that I am in any way an artist! Just my opinion... >.>

I think Kyril is my favorite boy from an aesthetic standard (with the understanding that Nadine is my favorite always and forever amen--grumpy!cute little girl with curly hair n'awwwww...). I want to mess up Jake's spikes, and possibly stick a large dandelion behind Gabe's ear--it'd match his hair and contrast with his eyes! *serious nod* Also, Ludmila looks so much like Sephiroth! *pets her* Socute...

d'aaaaaaw. I don't think their ages look too varied! Kyril's jaw is pretty well defined for a young age but that is the only thing that stood out to me when I went looking for off things. Ffffft hedgehog hair X3
Aw, they're adorable! And I don't think you fail at kids. They look close enough to the same age to be within standard variation and depending-on-angle sort of things. My sister's kids are all big enough that my nephew can't be picked out from kids two years his senior, while my niece looks nine in her official preschool picture (largely due to her posture and hairstyle).
Kids rarely look the same age. It is funny like that. One of the things my dad loved to do was take out a picture of my brother and ask people how old he was. Then we would smirk and tell them the actual age people would be shocked cause they all guessed he was older than he actually was in the picture.
It is the same thing with some sisters or brothers will look the same age but there is 2 or 3 years difference. Since they all have only one parent in common, I would think they would be more varied and it really comes out in the pictures.
kyril looks tired, ludmila looks like a stunner, gabe probably looks the most age appropriate(his hair and eyebrows are gorgeous to me for some reason), nadine's button nose and perfect cupids bow make me wanna see her daddy cos seph aint that cute, and jake, jake is definitely feeling the effects of nature and nuture -looks like zack and gives off the same feeling
