01. Which is your favorite fic?
Overall I think it's Teamwork, but I'm not sure that huge sprawling monster counts as one fic. Right now it's the Conan swingers-verse (in particular that fic where Shinichi and Ran manage to drag Kid in, but it's not even finished yet, so yeah maybe that'll change. XD) but hopefully once I get it out of my system I'll be able to return to other things. >____>


02. Which is your best-received fic?
Uhh. Sheer number of reviews... Teamwork? Though I still get questions about my GW fic Garou... and I think as far as one-shots go Locker Room Therapy is the one I got the best reviews for, quality-wise. ... this is really hard to figure out. D:

03. Which is your worst-received fic?
*PONDERS* well there's the old shitty GW stuff. Hm. It's hard to say, I always tend to be ridiculously lucky with the loev I get. ♥

04. Which is your angsty-est fic?
GW fandom, there's 4 AM (woohoo ghost heero & obsessed duo~) but apparently no one really liked that fic anyway. XD Naruto fandom, Locker Room Therapy has some nice angst but since the story's also about getting over it... Hm. Technicolor, then.

05. Which is your funniest fic?
GW: Hair, Naruto: Comrades, Coming Out and Cows, FF7: Cloudette and the Yellow Orb, Det.Conan: It's Raining Men, Hallelujah.
Since humor tends to lose its shine after several re-reads, right now my fave is It's Raining Men.

06. Smuttiest?
Toss up between Kiss Me, Stupid or Teamwork: Foxplay. (or The Night? Hmmm, I can't decide.)

07. Fluffiest?
I like my fluff with a side of angst to make the flavor stronger, so Unexpected Guests, the one with Kakashi POV.

08. Have you ever made someone cry with a fic?
Apparently so! >:D

09. Which fic frustrates you the most?
Right now, AAA RESTORE. Also, Newtypes. I am totally blocked on that one. Frrg.

10. Which fic was the most fun to write?
... They're always the most fun as I'm writing them! Well, most of them. Then they're written and I abandon them evilly to run to the next. D:

11. Who is your favorite OC you've ever created?
THIS IS SO HARD I love all the ones I've made up for Teamwork (but especially Haruno Yukihiro and Team Kunoichi (as a group; separately they lose a bit of their shine.) Alright, and also Kon of Team Summons, but mostly because he's hot. XD)

12. Are you better at one-shot or multi-part?
It's not a question of being better at, it's a question of "can I contain the bunny explosion or will it spill all over the place." ... okay, no, I think in a purely technical view I must be better at one-shots because it implies control and conciseness; multiparts always need to be plotted out on a wider frame and sometimes my approach to that is kind of rambly and haphazard.

13. What character do you think you're the best at portraying?
Urrr. I like writing Sasuke the most, but that doesn't mean much. He comes the easiest, though. Also, Cloud Strife, though I haven't written him a lot...

14. What character is the most difficult to portray?
KAKASHI. >:( also Gaara, oh my fucking god Gaara. *tears out hair* And I suppose there's tons of characters who'd be hell to write but I never got around to writing about them anyway...

15. Tag five other authors!
HMMM. sarolynne, joisbishmyoga, and uhhhh Questy, did you do it already? ... And anyone else who wants to do it.

Restore might win for "best", because it is everything I think resurrection fic needs to be. Funniest? Miss Cloud, possibly. Smuttiest? ...No comment. And for the OCs, I know nothing about the canon but I sure adore Girl!Naruto.

Given the resurrection fics I've seen where Cloud's reaction is "OMG HAI!" I'd say it rocks by comparison. And it's pretty great as-is.

And well then, perhaps I will not actually be irritated by Naruto if I ever get around to reading it! Although I will still spend the entire time growling "Ninjas. Should not. Wear orange." Unless they're in disguise or something, which... no.

... XD; it being not as bad as cliche badfic doesn't make it good, though. Maybe I found entirely new pitfalls to jump in instead! I admit I'm a perfectionnist on some things but still, it could be improved, I can't feel the emotional impact as well as I thought it should be felt, and some of the logic isn't as strong as it could be. But it's so HARD argh. DX *complain complain*

Maybe take it as "ninja" being an ancestral job title that evolved with time, and now they're more like "mercenary contractors for whatever you happen to need, with an emphasis on assassination and bodyguard duties" who just happen to think "ninja" is shorter. XD

Best would be teamwork because it restored my dying faith in fanfiction, but I could be baised.
funniest would be a toss up between Its raining men and the Itachi and non-saki Sasuke drag story, because I have a strange sense of humor.
Technicolor for the angst definitly.
Smuttiness would have to be the first Saki-chan fic, not because it had the most smut, but because it left the best impression. I mean I giggle everytime I pass those type of boots in the mall now.
Ack I don't even have enough fics to do this! off to nanowrimo!

Oh man, the politics. XD; There'll be more of that eventually... If you like that kind of things, maldoror_gw wrote awesome shinobi politics (some look a lot like war!) though her pairings tend more toward kakashi/iruka and gaara/lee. (then again i hate both pairings and she manages to make me love them in her stories, so that's not a big problem, and the worldbuilding is awesome.) edenfalling also writes very interesting explorations on the way a hidden village functions, especially in The Way of the Apartment Manager. It's an OC pov, and it works really well.
